That means you just damaged your hearing some more. Even if you can't hear a high frequency it can still cause damage. So never turn up the volume to hear something you can't.

I could hear everything except 20,000 hrtz. I placed my ear super near the volume thingy. You could try wearing big headphones like they did and put the volume to 100. If you can hear tapping, that means youtube can't handle it in some vids. If you DON'T hear the tapping, that means that you could possibly hear the sound like I did.

Most cheap headphones can't produce those high frequencies... you need special headphones for that. Also, I think CZcams cuts those high frequencies from the audio track as most people can't hear them and it would be a waste of data transfer. Google and download a tone generator and test it out yourself.

No one can hear the 17k sound, because it is CZcams quality. I created a sine wave on my Audio Workstation and I could hear 17780Hz. I am 20, so it is definitely the CZcams video. Dont worry folks! :)

I could hear all of them quite well. When I went to the Army and went through MEPS. They asked me if I was going air borne. I told them I didn't plan on it but am wiling to do so. They told me that they would defer me from the Army. He said I have excessive ear wax. That may defer you all together. Depending on your hearing test he said. He looked at my hearing test and his eyes lit up. He told me that I had the best hearing he's ever seen. Judging by his age and skill and knowledge. He's probably seen a lot of tests. He passed me on the exam only because I had outstanding hearing.

Guys, due to CZcams compression you CANNOT hear anything over 18kHz, besides your headphones quallity also makes a difference, but anyone claiming here that he heard 20kHz from this video, heard something else.

If you could not hear 15 kHz, your hearing is perfectly normal and fine. CZcams cannot generate sounds over 13 KHz.

It's actually because CZcams unfortunately compresses the audio quality too much for anyone to hear it. The other possibility is the specifications on whatever audio equipment you use, as most earphone/headphone manufacturers do not include this high of a frequency range, with exceptions being higher end equipment (not beats and razers) and also some Sony's and Philips products.
I had to put volume to max and get extremely close to my pc for 18 KHZ
and for 20 all i could here was the fans in my computer

I play the Tenor sax directly in front of them and whenever they play the highest notes my ears hurt like crazy. My doctor says I should stop playing but it's practically free high school credit and I get to travel and skip classes all the time

Im a trumpet player. And i dont like this comment. You know why? Because we are told to play loud and it is not our choice. How are we even supposed to control the direction of where the sound goes!? I dont know we didnt design the trumpet to go straight into your ears. If you have any complaints with someone playing an instrument, you are not respecting the trumpet players as a member of your band. And bands are supposed to be done with everybody, and not just one person. Now stop whining and making it the trumpet's fault.
