Hey! The lid locks as part of the collapsing mechanism; when you fold the Traveler down, a little latch automatically folds over the lip of the lid underneath the handle, securing it in place.

4.5Kg or larger gas bottle? Why not smaller?

Hey! You can use the smaller disposable gas bottles that you'll find at most camping stores as well. When we give size options for the gas bottles, this is so we can accurately give the expected amount of cooking hours from your bottle. You can use smaller sizes if you wish, just as long as they connect with the hose correclty.
