Let me pin this 😂😂😂
@@themarvelousvlog 😂
My man is churning out the content these past few days!
Stay subbed we’ve got much more on the way ❤️
Oh man, you need to be careful, one moment and you can blind yourself for life, take care dude
I know man. This game is dangerous
That's soo true but unfortunately some people just think that they are invincible to these issues 💯💯💯
If your safe, sensible and keep good health and safety everything and everyone should be safe. You should wear face mask when doing brakes etc so not to breathe in dust. Also safety glasses to be extra vigilant with your safety.
That was a close call mate.
Jeffrey (lol!) and you are a good and funny team, mate. Don't change each other and keep going. Loves from Turkey :)
Looks you had a really bad run of luck with the van hopefully now you can get a good run of luck…..
Great content you work very hard just remember to stop & play aswel….
Too much work & no play makes jack a very dull boy……..
The reason that DPF doesn't look too bad is because your looking at from the exit end of the filter so you won't see it blocked and it will look ok , get a pressure washer up the exhaust what you were looking in it at and get it blasted out back over so it clears all the soot and ash out the dpf, don't worry about getting the cat converter wet but you would see the shite coming out of it.
You should call a mechanic man for your brakes😂😂😂
Good job guy's 👍
Always wear protective when u are working , accidents are not planned, take extra care boys
Great video as always with some sense of humour 😂
U need to change ur van to a Mercedes or VW or Mann👍
I like the looks of the Mercedes but f it, I’ll buy a Ford wet belt 😂
I'm glad you both made it through the day but that van has the devil in it, very good video, next time eye protection you can't replace them🙂
He’s a marvellous man
Your so intelligent great mechanic
couple of close calls mate, very lucky with that civic leg,
Got to look after yourself health wise, no health can't make your wealth, take care. Great video 👍
I totally agree with this!
2:15 "Shows how important it is to wear PPE". Goes ahead and works without wearing any PPE....
At least the van is giving you lots of content.
The joys of work eh !... Seems your van's brakes had it in for you.. Good work though Guy's... Watching you lift the vans gearbox back into place Mat, I've concluded you must even have muscles in your urine. Hope John has healed up now and your eyes okay.
recently i changed a starter on a Peugeot and the tool slipt out my hand when i laydown under the car, and felt on my mouth.
2 broken tooth was the result.
Its your work horse & bread winner, show it some respect man😂
Wear glasses with the wire wheel drill attachment.
I once had a piece of wire strand break off and embed itself in my eyeball.
Had to go to hospital and wait 11hrs for them to dig the piece out with a needle.
Glasses are like £2.
omg dude dont put your fingers anywhere near that spring compressor while compressing it you dont get much sick pay self employed lol
🥲🥲🥲
Ohhhhhhhhh Colin be carefull👍 👜
Sometimes you just gotta do it don’t you, Phil?
Just thought I'd mention, when you changed the driver's wing mirror did you get the genuine one with the outside temperature sensor in, just thought I'd mention as it's a big cause of dpf problems on them, it won't regen without the outside temp sensor working
I did indeed. A lot of people can get caught out by that but I made sure I did. Thank you mate.
I’m sure people will read this comment and instantly check their wing mirror 😂
Lesson learnt proceeded without ppe anyway
That looked like a ducato/boxer front end you were working on in the first clip. Have you by any chance done a timing belt on the X250 ducato in one of your video's?
I haven’t yet, no. Sorry!
😂😂😂 the fact u get back under there after doing that with no ppe bro pls ware ppe I enjoy ur vids don’t need another CZcamsr disappearing
😂😂😂
That’s why you’ll see some of the newer videos, I start wearing eye protection if I’m going under rusty spots or if something can fly in to my eye 😂
when changing your brakes, did you grab a bacon roll? lol
Peugeot Citroën Renault...👎 French vehicles are horrendous, fair play to u fixing all that tho! 👏
Felt that, ouch.
Makes me cringe watching it to be honest 😭
That Spring Compressor is a Excellent tool and a must for changing the modern Crap shape of the Springs that are so Dangerous 😡
My car? Dangerous? No way never! 😂
😂😂😂
Haha call yourself a mechanic lmao chit happens. Keep er lit bro
You reckon you’ll be able to hold that spring in the spring compressor if it decides it wants out? 😂😂
Not the reason why I’m holding it to be honest. The reason why I’m holding it is because if it does pop out, I am at least somewhat deflecting it away from my face, or at least I will try 😂😂💀
@@themarvelousvlog quick like a cat 😂
I had noticed you not wearing any goggles on other vids when using a wire wheel and thought that it was only a matter of time before you had an injury to your face or worse an eye! You were very lucky here with that circlip, that could have cost you your sight! I know some one who was using a wire wheel with a drill and a shard came of and went into his eye-think about that for a moment when you reach for the wire wheel in a drill - WEAR GOGGLES , You have been warned, you dont get a second chance when you have lost an eye.
Bro said how important it is to wear your PPE and after nearly blinding himself (glad your okay) he continues to not wear PPE 😂
Allow me 🥲 I didn’t have the gear then so had no choice really 😭😂
should have got a sprinter
Best van
Here hints, if the brake pads wears quickly.
- Possibly calliper are seized/sticky, you can test them by spinning the wheel.
- Don’t used cheap crap pads.
Or the pins are seized/shagged 😂
As far as I know I don’t use crap pads. In-fact OEM pads actually wore down a lot quicker
You guys being scared of a big floor mounted spring compressor 😂
I use the big handheld one with a 22mm on an impact, now thats scary!
Hi there, which machine would you recommend out of the topdon artidiagpro or the kingbollen?
I’ll say neither of them. Get Launch X431 instead. Both Topdon and Kingbolen is just a partial copy of the Launch software as far as I am aware
@@themarvelousvlog ok will take a look. It’s only to have something at home or in the van for emergencies as have a autel/snap on and angry jester at work
Also. Get rid of the boxer. I went through 2 engines, gearbox and a turbo in 3 years. 2016 2.0 euro 6.
If you replaced the DPF because it keeps getting blocked, then surely you should find why it blocking up, something that happening the combustion chamber.
Deal with the cause not the effect.
Should make a point of taking wheels.off for propper inspection to make sure everything moving as it should bro that's what I do with my vehicles . Like u say its your garage and think of they weight its carrying with tools and stuff . 😊 love the videos also
7:00 New shock looking a bit rusty?
Eye eye
I also do weekly checks once a month 😂
I do oil change every 6 months once a year 😀
Danger Money
Hi Lara do you know any mobile mechanics in Glasgow area please
SM Brakes will be your go to!
Hi mate where do I contact you on where you are based and prices ?
We’re based in Hertfordshire mate. All contact details will be in the description. Thank you!
Safety glasses please when working under a vehicle. Lead by example.
I do… sometimes but I’ll keep this in mind 💪🏽
Oh and by the way, what was the first thing you did when it hit you in the eye lid, yes you put your dirty gloved hand directly to the damaged area, so if it had hit you in the eye you would have rubbed oily dirt into the wound ensuring you lost that eye.
Just an instant reaction, you know. Thankfully I’ve still got it!
@@themarvelousvlog All I'm gonna say is take a look and get yourself some comfortable safety glasses and insist on the guy who helps you do the same and always wear them, they are tax deductible, you protect your hands, your eyes are just as important you need them take care of them, they cannot give you knew ones or even repair them properly yet, those eyes are the only eyes you are likely to have your whole life, protect them.
Spend a few pounds and get the safety glasses and some spares, make sure they fit properly and they don't hinder your work, but they will save you from losing an eye.
Check out some of the videos about safety glasses they may make you understand how dangerous it can be, it doesn't take much, a simple slither of metal and you could lose an eye if it is sharp.
Always keep eye washing solution in your van in a medical kit as well, you should have a medical kit for emergencies, it's basic necessity for your safety.
One last thing, when crawling under big vehicles make sure the wheels are chocked so it cannot move and make sure your stands are strong enough to hold not only the weight of the van but also the goods inside the van such as tools, you won't get much warning if a jack or stand gives out so always air on the side of over kill on safety it may save your life.
Start with the glasses and take safety seriously, and if you are the boss you must make sure safety is there for anyone you employ.
Please dont use impact on a anti thief wheel bolts or nuts.
U will wreck the special sockets with impact tools.
Those pads were #perished
Mate u should be doing a daily walk around check not once a week
And you still went back under there without your eye protection on the second occasion after nearly loosing an eye!?
I didn’t have any gear then at the time. You’ll see on newer videos that I have been wearing PPE for when I know sh*t can happen- regardless I should be wearing at all times
Get your self a sprinter never had trouble with all the ones i've driven
You have had so many signs to replace the van, take the hint but a new van before something serious happens.
That’s what I’ve been thinking. Bothers me every time!
Just a suggestion but wear your eye protective glasses, they are not 3ven expensive and you can get some nice ones that would be good enough for your job.
Less than 3 pounds could save your eye sight, take a look at tool station or screw fix save your sight.
You never know when something might fly out under tension.
But you said lesson learned and went right back without eye protection so lesson not learned.
what kind camera us be using?
I’ve used many throughout this video:
1st clip - Used an iPhone but with the wrong settings
2nd clip - iPhone with the correct settings
3rd clip - DJI Action 4
4th Clip - DJI Pocket 2
5th Clip - Canon M100
6th Clip - DJI Action 4
EDIT:
I only use iPhone now but it will change on the next video to DJI Pocket 3
@@themarvelousvlog oh dam. Appreciate dawg
Pink eye 👁️ 😜
Tbh I’d rather someone fart on my face than that 😂
Why the repeat
I just think that some people/new subscribers may not have seen some of this so I compiled them in to one. New content coming up in 2 days time!
Dead rat at 29:34 ?!?!
An other re uploaded video... with some editing.
Hope you enjoy the compilation! ❤️
You should wear glasses looking up m8, could you do your job without them?
Why do you change shock absorbers on one side? When changing shock absorbers you should always change as a pair as the resistance and controlling bound and rebound rates will no be the same affecting the handing and braking. This is especially for front wheel drive cars for obvious reasons.
Not my money. Not my choice. I always advice to replace both but the final say is not mine
hope your paying your apprentice double pay on a monday we dont like mondays
