    I’ve been riding the E12 and E13 Rallystars on my Africa Twin for quite a while. The E12 Rallystar rear in 140/80-18 usually gives me about 2500-3000 km of life but they grip surprisingly well everywhere.

    Hello.
    I just put 1 in the front of my Aprilia Tuareg 660 to replace a k60 ranger.
    I've only drove on the road and off-road with lots of mud.
    And I must say, with the k60 I had lost all my confidence when driving on mud.
    With this trail xt+, all my confidence is back. This tyre is so amazing in mud, it's like there's no mud. It's really impressive the traction level but also the directional power in such condition.
    I highly recommend it.
    I've also one for the rear, but not yet fitted it (waiting that my k60 ranger wears out).
    Also (in France at least), it's not expensive. I've paid 190€ for a set.

      Thank you for your feedback! This is what I would have expected to read hearing you took off a K60 Ranger. I was not a fan of that front tire! Rear was good 1/2 way through and then got interesting. These are working well thus far!!!

Either a comment or a video but I think that's what so many of us are going to be coming from and excited that Mitas now has an option for us. Cage Match XT+ vs. RallZ The Mitas tiers are reversible so they will have "dual venture" like longevity which for me is upwards of 9k miles! The rear tire, we will see. Over 2k miles in and while it shows wear it's not half worn! Working to get over to my "test loop" and then I will put together an XT+ / RallZ corner for corner feeling / shootout. That will be awesome! Stay tuned!

And every is dying to know how are they leaned over compared to the RallZ? Primarily curious about the front tire. Thanks!!!

    • @manybikes
      @manybikes  Před 4 měsíci +3

      Thanks for taking the time to comment. The front tire is better than the Rallz front tire on-road and very similar off-road. I think the rear RallZ has an edge on this XT+ when it comes to stickiness, tread depth and tread pattern / block orientation. I have the Non-Dakar version on the way and I will test that one to see how it feels as compared to this Dakar version. But yes... I will let you know. Cage Match XT+ vs. RallZ

      @@manybikes Very interesting. Fom the looks of it I would have though the Mitas would have been better off road but not on. I would wager the Mitas might take the mud a little better. Sounds the front is the way to go. Just one more, how is the feel/tip in on the street as compared to the Rallz?
      Thanks again for doing the reviews, it really benefits the big bike community. Looking at your sight, the fronts are in stock now?

    • @manybikes
      @manybikes  Před 3 měsíci +1

      The Mitas turns in a little quicker than the RallZ as the Mitas tire is a bit more "round" in profile. That being said, the RallZ keeps its profile the entire life of the tire and the Mitas gets a flat spot after 3k miles or so.

  • @Dontortellini3

    I have a mitas e09 on my wr 250r and the best tire for powerslides, so far. if you are looking for a rear tire with ultra grip in corners, skip this. It has a very wide limit and makes it really easy to learn powerslides, because there are not so many blocks on the side like on other tires. A Motoz adventure has way more forward grip but is sketchier in corners (higher grip level, more sudden grip loss and more difficult to control). Wished Motoz had this block profile on one of their models

    What your opinion on them in wet sand? I've been fairly unimpressed with the motoz DV in anything soft. So much so I can easily say the Shinko 705 front tracks better in it; The DV turns into slicks holding onto all the sand as I go. I'm not in the right climate for the Motoz H/T, so I'm thinking about either the Enduro Trail XT+ or Motoz I/T as my next Front wheel. I'm doing less and less highway (i know I should've gotten the 690, but now I'm emotionally attached XD) so highway comfort is less of a burden.

    • @manybikes
      @manybikes  Před 4 měsíci +1

      Yes, I would agree with you in the fact that the soft muddy stuff can clog up a DV. I've been running the Endueo ST Fatty and love it in that terrain. The new XT+ is a good compromise between those two. Shoot me an email and I'll send you a comparison pic between them. Manybikes at g mail dot com.
