Thanks for this Video! This is exactly what I was thinking of doing. Even the same Epoxy. I'm Especially appreciative of your update comment.
Cheer!
☺
Hopefully it had worked this time around thanks for sharing…👍👍
so far so good, and it's withstood some of the hottest days we've ever had
I have an '02 F150 I have had for about 10 years and have had my mirror fall off at least once a year, if not more often.
Have used several rear view adhesives and some last longer than others, but have all failed. Redid it about a month ago, and will see how it holds, but if it fails, may give this a try.
knock on wood... so far it's holding up and we had a couple triple digit temps this year. I'm not sure if changing to the epoxy or moving it on the windshield was the "secret" since I did both, but I'm happy thus far!
I am in the Houston area, so understand the heat and sun issues.
I have even gone a far as taking my dremel and cutting some little groves in the button hoping it would adhere better, since like you, it seems to stick to the glass but not the button.
hope you're OK and safe from the flooding. We've had terrible rain and flooding, but nothing like what Houston has had. Lake Waco rose more than 10' in one day this month!
My biggest pet peave. It always happen during a road trip ect.
yeah, never a good time for it to happen!
Any updates?
so far... knock on wood... it's still up!
