    Highly suggest putting in some braces up top between your ceiling joices to prevent too much movement on the single joice you have the bag bolted into. Also will help distribute the load so that single joice doesnt start to sagg over time. just a tip from a contractor :)

    • @csquaredboxing
      @csquaredboxing  Před 4 lety +2

      No prob. It all depends on the fill. This nazo bag came Pre filled with terry cotton material which gives it a firm but forgiving pop once completely broken in which is why a lot of pros use this brand. Typically heavy bags are filled with old clothes (sometimes shredded) and sand bags to add weight.

    • @Jonathan_8052
      @Jonathan_8052 Před 4 lety +4

      Michael Forbes personally I’d recommend you get a free standing bag if you’re in an apartment. If that’s not your style then you can get a bag with a stand but make sure you weigh the stand down so it doesn’t sway and come off the ground with the momentum of the bag (or you could fix it to the stand by tying it to the legs so it doesn’t sway). Now if that’s not an option then get a cobra bag or a double end bag.

    • @loslosthuy
      @loslosthuy Před 4 lety +3

      Try the Per4m quick punch on amazon for a double end bag, I used one in our condo as the upstairs unit and never got a complaint. Pretty cheap too. Csquared actually does a review on it as well.

      @@loslosthuy I think that is ultimately the best choice, between possible drywall damage from hanging a double bag and the noise of a heavy bag in an apartment building, that makes the most fiscal and practical sense.

      There’s also some doorway bags that you can get. some are a double end bag with a small ball.

      Maybe a few caribiners instead of a chain to hook it to ceiling mount

    Great video! Does your house vibrate while you are training? I have another room upstairs, will it bother?

      Upstairs might feel the movement, but no, my house doesn’t vibrate

      @@csquaredboxing In my house, they feel the vibration of my heavy hits (70 pound bag, finished ceiling with drywall meaning I had to use a stud finder and hung my bag on a cross beam for there is main beam from garage door to the other end, just between the side walls, 3 meters apart), all the way to the bedroom on the third floor (garage is first floor).
      My wife even told me the ceiling wobbles when I hit the bag.
      WTF?
      Now I'm scared the stud (any stud) won't hold and the ceiling will come crashing down.
      I have same issue: any way to test the stud to see if it will be OK? i HAVE NO IDEA what "Check the dm on Instagram" means.
