Honestly grading is usually done the same way. You're just paying for the brand. You can buy a black shirt for 7 bucks but if you buy the same black shirt made by Nike, just with that logo, the price is now 30 or 50 bucks! I think it's stupid!! We're just always told PSA is better, but they are getting more expensive, and bad reviews now. It's time we take them out! Go somewhere cheaper and get your card graded! It most likely the same way!

Thank you for this review TTP. I think for getting your non PSA 10 category chase cards graded, slabbed, and to prove they are genuine, this service at these prices make a lot of sense. Take a typical $20 card you might buy on EBAY. Maybe it's a bit off centered and you know it's not going to pull a PSA 10, but it's a 9 or 8. Send it in to these folks and for $15 more, you get something someone else might give you $50-$70 for. I think there is a market for that kind of collector who wants something slabbed and graded but doesn't want to pay $250 for something just a very little bit better (PSA 10 of the same card). I will try this service thanks to your video.

I think the presentation of the labels and the case itself is what shows how professional the company is or wants to be. Bgs labels are very high end looking these labels looks like something made from Microsoft paint. If the labels were made high end and sleek I think these new companies would be taken a bit more seriously. The effort you put into your product and website shows alot about the companies dedication to quality and providing a product that is competitive to its rivals.

We definitely need a few more companies out there to keep the market more competitive, but atm it seems not everyone wants to give the newer companies a break. Hopefully some do stick around to start and prove their worth. It's a shame though how those slabs have subgrades but you have to flip the slab and scan the code to see them, seems to kill the worth of having them really. Most people imo like to see all in one go, and some who have their slabs on display will fell like they've lost out a little having subgrades that are not visible, unless the slabs spun round and scanned. But yeah, that grade 11 thing is a bit weird and extra 😅

I just did my 5 for 50 a couple weeks ago. I checked my centering before submitting because I wanted to send my best cards. All centering was within the 60/40. I have been checking their certificates, and all 5 of mine received 8's. That being said, all surfaces got a 3, most edges got 2's and all centering got one, except for 1 card which got a 1. I will double check when I get them back, but kind of disappointed considering I checked the centering with a card check card. Curious, tough. Certificates are available for look-up, but have not received my bill yet. Looking forward to getting them back and checking them out. I think I am more saddened by the lack of variety. lol. I do love the look of the Degree labels and looking forward to seeing them in hand.

Their point system is too low. Very hard to establish a “grade” when there is such a small range. For example: mew had multiple edge and corner wear compared to Lillie but both got a 2/3. I do agree that the mew shouldn’t be considered 1/3 but there’s no in between

Seems like an enormous rip off when those companies can afford to do it cheaper.
