I've sent a few subs to Universal Grading Company. They're a bit quieter on socials but I prefer their labels and slabs over anything else on offer. The slabs are thinner but feel very solid and premium, I much prefer smaller slabs for storage purposes. They also have the option of both sub grades or no subgrades from today.
I see a lot of compliments for the big Ace slabs but they feel clunky to me! Definitely a good quality slab, but it doesn't need to be as thick as it is in my opinion.

I’m gunna have to try universal grading, I’ve looked at their slabs & they look great 👌. The Ace slabs are chunky, & heavy, but I kind of like it. The welding could defiantly be a bit better though. Thanks for watching 😀

I've had a few friends use them and they say the customer service needs improving a lot and then some say it's been fine, so I'm still on the fence.
I'm sending some more cards to MGC tomorrow as I've had a few back and loved the service. I got a couple tens which was nice.

I agree, for me MGC are the best on the market at the moment & could well be up there with PSA in few years. Mate!! What cards did you get graded? Can you email me photos?? Or maybe start an Instagram?? The community is buzzing on insta mate.

I like ace. The slabs feel tonk. And I like the label options too

Yeah, I like that there is a choice on the labels & the slabs feel great. I will be grading with the again.

@@ChefBeforeTrading yeah I was impressed with my first sub that I submitting two more times! Haha. I felt it next to a Psa and although Psa has more clout their slabs felt so light and kinda cheap in a way 😬

I like those slabs, I like how they can stack 👍🏻

Ace had a lot of issues with the bottoms of the slabs, the welding looked shocking. Have they fixed this now?

I heard about all that. Tbf all the welding on the slabs looked grate. I think I will mainly use MGC in the future, out of the uk companies anyway.

I've used ACE before very recently and had a good experience with them. I've never used MGC.
However, I am thinking what will be better selling wise ACE vs MGC?
Obviously none of those will come close to PSA at the moment at least but its a long and painful process especially outside of the US that honestly I can't be bothered with.
What one do you think would be better?

    • @ChefBeforeTrading
      @ChefBeforeTrading  Před 2 lety

I’m not sure really. I know that MGC prices & Ace are very similar. I think they are defiantly at the top of the UK scene & until PSA has caught up with their backlog, I don’t think I can be bothered with the wait & faffing about.

I still prefer MGC. Think they have been brilliant every time I've dealt with them. I like the advanced security features as well

MGC are defiantly the best choice for me also mate. Ace Grading slabs do feel very nice though.

Slyveon crossgrade with PSA I bet has better potential at a 10
