Rockhounding Agate in the Jemez Mountains - HUGE Seam Agate Found!

You can collect agates, drusy quartz, chalcedony nodules, obsidian and jasper in the Santa Fe National Forest, in the Jemez Mountains near Ponderosa, New Mexico! In this video I show you some areas to hunt for rocks so you can find them yourself.
The forest service roads are rough and a 4WD/high clearance vehicle is a necessity.
The following locations will get you approximately to the areas where the agates and obsidian in this video were found. They may be slightly off since I got them off of Google Earth maps, but they should get you to the vicinity:
