I have always had trouble replacing that on my Venza. Thank you for the simple and informative tutorial.

Watching it live I was saying to myself.... please clean the window before you install the new blade. Seconds later you start cleaning the window. I do respect your work ethic sir thank you.

I have a Honda CRV and switched over to silicone blades but being from the real service station group i like to wash the windows with a little washer fluid and a squeegee for a little longer life on the blades. The quality of your work shows thru in your attention to detail, washing the window before imbedding the rubber with all of that dirt. Great Video as always!

Learn something every day. I thought the cover over the mounting nut was only for arm removal. But it might be a good idea to remove the nut and arm to add a little anti seize to the stud. They can really be tough to remove here in the rust belt.

Juat had someone ask me about a Scion xB rear change. Looked it up and the reason they didn't make it anymore is because of a solid one piece design😂 only option is to change the refill

I like to get the rubber inserts from the dealer and replace them only.

My Toyota dealer parts department sells Sightline wipers. I got a set years ago and those things didn’t last 6-months, just horrible! The Rain-X Expert fit are a good price and last 3-4 years.

My 14 RX has it hidden under the rear wing, I wonder how you remove it since I can't extend wiper arm all the way up? I don't know why other makers don't conceal it under the wing?!

Many Walmarts stock this wiper. Don’t get ripped off by the dealer

Why not just change the rubber insert? Toyota must sell them.

If you want to, you can. I did and it was more a pain in the butt. And some people might damage it or are more likely to and it might not hold and fall out unknowingly and then scratch the glass next time they use it.

This design is very unreliable. I do not trust wipers that can be replaced without removing engine head bolts. Also, for reliability, the wiper blade needs to have its own water pump and radiator for cooling and have an independent oil sump for lubrication. That would be the ideal design.
