Does the drive count always stay in the system or does it reset when I delete codes with a scanner tool? What is red flag number for a prius? I keep seeing 1-8 counts in misfire current nothing like the 1300 count you're showing In the video

Sort of have shaky idle on cold start nothing too crazy but current rates all showing 2,5, 7, 6 for a prius. Is this normal or something is going on?

Do you know the answer? What gen of prius?

@Łukasz B my problem was badly clogged up fuel injectors. I switched them out with better used ones and it went away. If that doesn't work remove spark plugs and check them out. While doing that try to use a flashlight and look in piston head area to see if the pistons are charred up badly. That normally indicates engine is losing clearance in the piston rings area aka engine is starting to go bad. There's no undoing this issue if engine is slowly going bad so don't try to pay a mechanic extra cash to use a magic chemical to fix it.
Final: check fuel injectors, spark plugs, piston heads visual inspection with flashlight

@@priusgame1178 Thank you for reply. My G2 has mileage over 250k km and some misfire problems on idle on random cylinders. I have changed my spark plugs (removed Denso Iridium have only 40k km). Nothing changed. But then I added good fuel additive and it is much better now. Oil consumption is not bad - only about 0.1L for 1000 km. I think I should give fuel additive more time.

Hey, if you still remember what fuel additive you have used? Is it Marvel mystery oil?
