This is my favorite I own. Great shooter, great trigger, Ammo is cheap. I love it
Best 22lr pistol out there. What the heck Taurus!! Have a fn and sig and always go back to this. It will eat any ammo and is super accurate
Absolutely Taurus please make an LCP2 .22lr style gun.that be cool,I have the LCP2 and really like it.Taurus could make a cool small 22 pistol.I’m absolutely going to be picking up a TX22.
I love my TX22 Competition with a Vortex sight. I picked up a spare barrel and sight mount block from Taurus so I can swap from RDS to Iron Sights with a barrel change. The +5 magazine extensions are fantastic as well. I used the included spring spacer and down load them by 1, but 20 rounds is a lot of lead before having to swap mags.
The Compact looks like a decent "compact" pistol and if I didn't already have a Kel-Tec P17, I'd take a closer look. With the exception of cross-platform mag compatibility, it just doesn't justify a slot in my collection at this time.
Mine is coming in this week for $398 OTD ... it includes the red dot sight. I use the same type of Olight too. Congrats on your good fortune.
Where you get it with a red dot on it?

I’ve had the original TX22 for almost 2 years and have never had a failure of any kind with it. If I find a deal on the Compact, I’ll pick it up just to compare it to the original
Purchase for the wife she loves it runs perfectly out of the box. The cyelee cat fits the cut . Please let me know if you have any barrel leading problems . Came back from the second time at the range taking me 2hrs too clean the barrel. Haven't called Taurus yet want to try other ammo. Only tried cci mini mag and aguila super extra,
Bought the compact and ordered a longer barrel for it. Love it suppressed

Mine ate everything I fed it, except for CCI quiet auto. My full-size TX 22 doesn’t like CCI Quiet auto either. That’s not a big deal to me. I absolutely love the TX 22 line and I would love to test out a competition model to see if it’s worth the price if it is I’ll buy one of those too. I highly recommend the TX 22 and the TX 22 compact if you are into 22 LR.

Looks a lot like the Psa dagger handle
I wish someone would Dremel/ shape the grip to be thinner (seen ppl reshape glock grips this way) to see if it can be done... the grip is way too thick for carry for a 22. From there you could wrap it with talon grips for cosmetics
I really wish you could buy a stand alone optics ready slide for the full size tx22..... I bought one right away and it's the only thing I don't like about it.
Taurus has the optics ready slides on their site simple change over take not optics slide off put optics slide on

Taraus automatics are junk they need to stick with what they know best and that's revolvers if u want a real gun go get you a smith and wesson, ruger ,sig ,heritage or a 1911 taraus are junk they do nothing but jam. My ruger p89 would run Laps around any Tarsus automatic pistol

@jayoh8616 they bought the company in 2012 I have a heritage pistol before taruaus bought the company and taruaus makes good revolver but their automatic are junk
