There are videos on his channel where he does a comparison, both foam vs just a pressure wash, and a comparison of wetting the car first or putting the foam on a dry car. Fairly recent so you should be able to find them. I've tested myself and find the pressure wash only will get about 80% of the dirt off and about the same with most snow foams, but BH Touchless or Autofoam will get 95% leaving only a very faint layer of film to get off with a contact wash. Easily noticeable difference on my black car.
Love the huge description like it’s ground breaking. It’s a hose and some foam. thankfully it did remove the grime or you would have scratched the tailgate at the end
I have bilt hamber touchless as recommended by you but ran it through standard nilfisk snow foamer - but way too thin and didn’t cling. Tried both with recommended water mix and concentrate only in the bottle (mixing with the pressurised water). So watched your video this week on the MJJC v2 and that arrived today! Just too dark to test tonight, but will clean my sons rotten punto tomorrow like this.
Used auto foam on our country road grubby cars , the results were amazing took off so much grime, sold on this snow foam now no going back ,thinking time to try more bilt hamber items
Can I send you a snow foam product to test? Could just be the thing we have all been waiting for, deep cleaning without stripping wax and hydrophobic coatings!
I bought touchless after watching your comparison video, used it yesterday and was not disappointed. Car had been freshly waxed last week so literally no contact wash needed on paint. 👌🏻
@@A.J.Villanueva Yes, last year when i stocked up on my bilt hamber stuff. Found it irritating to have to use 2 products to get the same result or slightly worse than touchless bilt. Took me twice as long to set up and spray considering im not about to go and buy another foam cannon.
@@alexanderbarrStars and stripes does a better job at removing water spots and inorganic contaminants since it has an acid wash at first. BH auto foam and touchless will do great removing oils and organic contaminants but won’t touch the inorganic.
Watch those pH levels. That stuff can get very high, even for a ceramic coated car. Best to go no higher than pH 10 on the panel to be on the safe side.
Just to give you an example, pure alcohol solvent is PH7. put it on clearcoat neat and it will swell it as it breaks down the binders. PH can only ever be a finger in the wind. You could put 10% caustic soda in a surfactant base and balance out the PH but the finished detergent blend would degrade more than a single alkaline surfactant that could be PH 12. It depends on the materials used. Carpro are just giving a rough guideline but its more complicated than this.
