  • Look in your tackle box and you're likely to find something made by Drennan. But what about the man behind the name?
Peter Drennan started out as 'just' an angler, mixing with Peter Stone, Fred J Taylor and Dick Walker. Now he has a hugely successful tackle empire. In another Angling Times exclusive, he tells us about his life in angling.

Only just found this video....... brilliant! Must have a dozen Drennan rods and too many sundries to count in the garage.....the common denominator is attention to detail and excellent quality! Nuf sed.

Could not agree more regarding Britains waters .......such a pity the way our rivers/fish/wildlife etc are under threat in the overpopulated UK of TODAY.

Its much less to do with over population, and much more to do with illegal and shoddy industrial methods. People don't live in water, but big corporation dump toxins in our waterways which devoid them of any life.

Is Oxford the only place in the uk you say you could not get anyone to work in Oxford why not put a factory in a less "affluent" town

You know he has got fishing in his blood and without his support England wouldn't be the no 1 match fishing nation we are... now England haven't got sugar daddy around to sign the cheques it will be interesting to see if a new sponsor takes in all the different England teams or just the main squad because it wouldn't look good from the outset if a new sponsor dropped the others.
