    AWESOME review dude. I just bought some. I'll update this post when they get shipped.
    UPDATE:
    They came in. Holy moly these things are awesome. The foam does boost the bass of the AirPods and significantly boosts their noise cancellation too. I feel more immersed in my music and outside noise is pretty much gone. Bass will tickle your eardrum and you'll enjoy your music much more. (Go to settings and put on the bass equalizer too and hot damn, you gonna slap yo momma)
    If your gym plays music, it'll completely drown it out.
    If you're a student, these will put you into that "flow state" and get more productive.
    TLDR:
    If you wanna drown out the world and you is all about that bass, get these things NOW!
    10/10 will have these on my Airpod pros forever.

    my problem is the regular tips, when I first bought the pro's, i passed the ear fit test with the mediums. the large were just too big for my ear. well now the mediums ALWAYS fail the fit test, and the large is still to big for me. i tried the Charjen ones, but it literally made no difference. still failed the fit test with small and medium ( only tried small to see if it would work, normally the small is WAY too small for me ) and the large, if i could get them to fit, would make the sound tiny and no bass at all ( Mind you with Apple music, I have yet to hear ANY good bass with Airpods Pro. I like my bass punchy and truthfully Airpods Pro are not it. even with Bass Booster EQ. The Regular Airpods have way more bass ). Lot of reviews and articles talk about how good the Comply's are so I ordered them and I hope they finally make my Airpods Pro wearable and maybe, just maybe add a bit more bass to music. btw loved the video, and it was very informative. thanks.

    • @ScottSchramm
      @ScottSchramm  Před 3 lety

      I agree the bass is better on the 1st and 2nd gen AirPods. Apparently it was booted to make up for the lack of a seal in your ear. The Pro's on the other hand lack the boom but sound more "accurate" but for bassheads like us, still not enough :) Also if you can't pass the fit test on any tips, get the AirPods swapped out by Apple. It's a known issue and has something to do with the mics. Other symptoms include crackle noises and ANC problems. My boss had the same problem and after getting them swapped out now the fit test works again.

      @RaZkOL5 Před 3 lety +1

      So Update, Got the Comply's and it did absolutely nothing. still sound the same and still fail all the ear fit tests. I saw an article online about buying cheap foam tips, removing the middle caps on them ( so all that's left is the foam itself ) which coincidentally the foam tips i bought on amazon for 3 bucks made a point in the pictures and instructions that the middle part came out easily ( trust me i found it weird too ), and then take the original apple tips and put them through the middle hole of the foam tips, basically fitting the foam tips right underneath the silicon tips. with this admittedly weird "fix" i actually got one side to give a good seal, so there's that. it also fits in the case still. sound is pretty much the same, but at least there's some progress. i will say the COMPLY'S did feel good, but for $25 they didn't fix my particular issue, so had to return them. but i would say that if anyone has issues with their Airpods Pro they should absolutely try them.

    How do you clean the tips?

    • @ScottSchramm
      @ScottSchramm  Před 3 lety +2

      I usually just wipe them off using my shirt or a soft cloth. I wouldn't recommend getting them wet and definitely do not use an alcohol wipe. Apparently alcohol kills the foam.

    • @ScottSchramm
      @ScottSchramm  Před 3 lety +2

      Sounds like you are using the first edition of these eartips and not these new 2.0 version. The new version uses the same click on style as Apple's eartips. I also find it odd you've had broken AirPod's just because of the ear tips. I have reviewed like 8 different models of ear tips and as such have installed and removed them way more times then the average person and I have not had any issues with my AirPods breaking and they are over a year old now.

    • @ScottSchramm
      @ScottSchramm  Před 3 lety +2

      Comply does not offer white. There are some other companies I've reviewed that offer white but you don't want them because they tend to get yellow pretty easily. Best to stick with a dark color like black.
