I know this is a subjective thing. But I think the foam Masters black magic blows the comply foam tips out of the water. The case build itself is incredible. The overall comfort is astonishing. It seems to change the sound profile in a very good way. I’m falling in love with my AirPods Pro again just because of this your tips
the pressure difference is because when the foam decompresses it begins to push out the earbud and since the seal is so complete is creates a bit of suction
Hey Scott. Thanks for all your reviews. I was debating between Comply 2.0 & Foammasters 4.0 and just went with Foammasters 4.0 (I used your link too). Your review highlighting the poor customer service & gel like feel of Comply 2.0 helped me to choose Foammasters 4.0 I was also happy to see the FM 4.0 adjust its shape to look more like Comply 2.0’s (one thing I liked about Comply 2.0) I was hesitant about how long the foam on the FM 4.0 takes to return to form, but I plan taking the advice you received from Foammasters, and just placing them in my ear regularly; without squeezing. *If you don’t hear back from me, they fit great. (My issue with the AirPods silicone tips is that they are too loose in my ears & and I find myself having to readjust them quite often).
The foammasters 4.0 are a slight improvement from the AirPod pro silicone tips, but I’m finding they are still loose in one ear. I’m going to return the AirPod Pro’s altogether and purchase another kind of earbud. And I also feel the pressure you spoke of, like that of when on an airplane. Not pleasant at all. Thanks again for your reviews Scott. Much appreciated!
Ordered these! Can’t wait to try them. So far I tried comply 2.0 hated them! Hurt my ears. Then I ordered the charjen active ... they are ok but they start to slide out after about 20 min and none of the sizes fit perfect and don’t pass the AirPod pro test in both ears. Hopefully these fit well ... excited to try them.
Thanks for the review. I saw this and your Comply video. I wear my AirPods Pro 2 to the gym and I need something that deals well against sweat and will be durable for awhile. Do you still recommend the Comply? And is it better to get black to avoid the white or grey yellowing? I’ve tried several silicone alternatives and my right ear still spits them out and they don’t pass the seal test. So now it’s time for me to try memory foam. Your advise is appreciated and I’ll be sure to use your link when purchasing from Amazon. Thanks!
Comply 2.0 would be my recommendation. If you try the foam and decide you don’t like it then the CharJenPro Pro Active would be another good pick. I have videos on them as well
Do these have the small air vents at the clip base the same as the original Apple tips? That bit is critical for me, can’t stand in-ears without this feature to equalise pressure. Looks like they don’t but it’s not mentioned anywhere on Amazon or here.
Nope, these do not have those holes. The ones from CharJenPro are supposed to have them but the version they sent me did not and they said it was because the ones they sent me were one version before the ones that went into production so I can't 100% verify that, but from what CharJenPro told me, theirs should have the pressure relief holes. czcams.com/video/LlthLcLQXnc/video.html
@@ScottSchramm One model of the CharGen have them as I bought a set...but not impressed, they fall out easier than the Apple tips, whatever size I try, and the fit onto the AirPods is really poor and loose.
if I am a small in the normal tips should I order a small? I want to get a 3 size of a specific size so I have replacements instead of the variety pack.

This was a very informative video and I thank you for helping decide on what foam ear tips I should go with :)

1 year ago, did it work? Was the sound good? Did you get any other foam tips?
So which is better comply or foam master?
I think the Comply is better.

Yes keep the same size.
Is the Large the same size as the originals?
Yes
What recommend comply 2.0 or foam master 4.0
Here is my final comparison video where I talk about this: czcams.com/video/YSoz6a39I-c/video.html
It’s 2021 😎
Haha you're right!!!
4.0? Why is it so hard to perfect them 😂😂😂
I think its good they are listening to user's feedback and making tweaks!
30 bucks for tips is crazy. Especially if you pick one size the price doesn't change. Kinda over priced.
If you pick a single size, you get three pairs instead of one.
