You're wrong. The Amulet wasn't even in the first movie. It wasn't around his neck when Chucky's real body died. Bride of Chucky is the FIRST time it was ever mentioned or seen for the sake of plotline. It's a retcon

I know the amulet wasn't in any of the older (movie was originally planned to be a one shot and left open ended) and newer Chucky movies (which are going off an older idea they had for child's play 3 but didn't have the funding for it at the time). The theory about the amulet was meant to be a fun theory made from the child play and Chucky series as a whole and add a possible way that directors could use as a concept to kill off Chucky for good before Hollywood destroys another beloved horror movie icon. (You could say the newer movies might of already ended the series but the theory was an idea to give Chucky a better send off rather than getting more sequels and remakes that either don't make sense or moves too far away from the original lore)

6:10 Actually, fun fact (which I'm sure someone has probably mentioned already but I didn't see any comments about it): while this is the first time we've heard the Heart of Damballa mentioned, it's actually _not_ a new creation for this movie! In the original draft of the first movie, Charles Lee Ray was actually going to use an amulet with that very name as part of the method for transferring his soul into the doll; this got far enough that a physical model of the amulet was made, as seen in some production stills, before the script was changed to just use the chant.

Great review, but there was also a seriously weird bit of cross-promotion for this movie, where Chucky appeared on World Championship Wrestling, and got into a brief feud with Rick Steiner. So "Rick Steiner's Career" could justly have been on the Kill Count. 😁
