Bill Russell single handily changed basketball defense! a complete Winner throughout his entire basketball career. peep what all his teammates say regarding how important he was.. absolutely a top 10 player.
You guys act like he didn't have multiple teammates that scored well over 20 points a game his teams were always loaded and bill Russell is highly overrated
Media with no respect for Bill Russell and Havlicek. Smh. Chris' and Shannon lists were a pile of mess. Skip list was the best of the 3 but putting Bird after Kobe.........smh. Bird led teams that beat a lot of HOFs.
@@TheLtrain85 That's just utter nonsense. Stop. Havlicek isn't an overall better player than Elgin Baylor. Let's talk actual greatness. Elgin Baylor is easily a top 12-15 off of talent an even impact on a game yes he didn't beat Russell lead teams but damn Havlicek? He isn't in a conversation with Kobe. Elgin Baylor by the way 27 PPG 13 RPG 4 APG one of the greatest stat lines in NBA history aside of Wilts 30/23/4. Dude said Havlicek the same guy that was drafted to a great situation. Russell would still have 11 titles without Havlicek as a teammate but Havlicek wouldn't have 8 titles without Russell as a teammate. Havlicek as far as the player (not championships) is in the KD Dirk K.Malone Robinson Barkley KG group of the top 30. Maybe 20-25. The man doesn't even have a MVP to his name. That's why I don't have Baylor higher on the list because despite being way better than Havlicek neither were able to get a MVP. I mean even Oscar Robertson did manage to get one an Pettit got 2 in the Russell/Wilt era.
I'm an 80s baby & as far as my generation goes Kobe is a top 5 guy in my opinion. I know he was on a couple stacked teams, but his attitude & skill set made him an elite & heartless, winner. The last ring he got with Gasol & I think Odom was proof he could win without Shaq. I don't like to judge any athletes before my time, so he's top 5 to me.💯
フゥードゥゥー オレンジ- maybe appearances are validation for hall of fame consideration, but splitting hairs like this in the greatest of all time conversation I don't think it holds water. The conference could have been weak and you just took advantage of it.
Shannon need to mention Jerry West and Elgin Baylor as greatness of all times based on his logic. West was 1 - 9 and Baylor was 0-8. They both lost 8 times and we went there 8+ times. Shannon need to stop.
skip is white savoring up larry birds legacy on national t.v.….hes not better than lebron by any measure....it hurt him to hear that bird was that bad at 24 in the 81 finals..cause he was...he was a end year 24 year old rookie meaning in 1979 he was 22 and still lost to a 20 year old magic in the ncaa finals lol imange if a 19 year old lebron in college beat a 21 year old kd or kobe lol
Shaun King bird was a better shooter and rebounder that’s about it , he’s a better passer, more mvps , more finals mvps , and was better way longer than bird was
As a Lebron fan People need to stop pretending Lbj is clutch, reason being the media will just keep coming down on him twice as hard when he shows his mental fragility in the NBA finals. Whether it be against Dallas, Spurs, Even Golden state just last year when he once again ran from the free throw line in game three. Hate the excuses and narrative, an all time great and my favourite to watch. 3-5 could easily be 1-7 but just my opinion.
this is what i mean, just because I'm honest about the guy it means i can't be a fan. come on man the guys all time great but he aint that guy who gonna win you a chip when it comes down to it. Wasn't cut out for it so lets just enjoy the rest of his incredible attributes.
Lebron has been way better in the clutch since coming back to Cleveland but he's always had instances where he's passive in the clutch. He won't ever pass Jordan after seeing that 2011 finals and in some of the finals recently he's made terrible cost worthy mistakes.
@chroniclesofjudah144 I think people fail to realize that even though kobe won 3 rings with Shaq, it wasn't until Kobe took his game to the next level did the lakers start winning championships.. Shaq was on the lakers 3 yrs befor kobe became a starter and was unable to win a championship or get to the finals even thougj he was able to bring the magic to the finals years earlier and not as dominant (yes he had penny)... i think we need to give kobe a little bit more credit brother lol on what he brought to those lakers team and then him winning 2 without Shaq just cements it.... ps not a fan boy lol
They have but not the type you want them to give him credit for... When shaq was in orlando, you had to double both penny and shaq but had to pick your poison too... when LA started winning when Phil got there to properly use Kobe in a system and tame is inflated ego to let the Big Man that the Triangle offense truly was made to be used by.. set the tone for LA and Kobe was free to roam on offense with little to no pressure while shaq got pounded on. They changed the rule because of Shaq.. Ppl forget that and even had a couple terms like Hack a Shaq to find ways to stop him. What did anyone ever create to find ways to Stop Kobe?
@@datona13 let alone the fact Kobe got shaq traded. And then had Phil resigned. And this bum couldn't do a fuckin thing by himself. couldn't make the playoffs. Tmac made the playoffs with Ty Lue. Darrell Armatrong and a bunch of other shitty players. Kobe was begging to be traded to any team even the clippers.
@@datona13 he couldn't be stopped bro! That hack a shaq is to show shaq's weakness,if he could shoot free throws there wouldn't have been a hack a shaq.hack a shaq is a strategy bro
Jonathan Williams the reason he couldn’t do anything “ by himself “ is because he was by himself 😂 this is a Team Game... he has absolutely no HELP... like at least when Bron was in Cleveland he had teammates avg 18+ ppg and even had Antwan Jamison at one point... and Kobe was in the west.. you’ve got spurs Dallas Kings suns trailblazers Seattle etc
If wilt won in 69 and 65 he would have a legitimate argument for Goat. He's the greatest athlete to ever play in the NBA. He averages 45 mpg and he never fouled out. I have wilt in my top 5 because of his dominance and numbers. Like Lebron he had too many gifts.
@@dumisatonyjohnson8145 No educated NBA fan thinks this. Hakeem is much better than Kobe. It's really not.up for debate. Go watch more Hakeem highlights.
You know Shannon doesn’t even actually believe Kareem is number 1 over Jordan when he says “hold on skip you got magic, Shaq, and Kareem all ahead of lebron??”
50/50 with Russell and Chamberlain all depends on how you evaluate and observe their careers. Wilt and Russell played the position in a complete different way. Wilt did come up small in 1968 ECF Russell definitely outplayed him. 1969 Game 7 Wilt chamberlain outplayed Russell Before getting hurt. 18 Points on 88% with a game high 25 Boards+ game high 10 Blocks vs Russell 6 points/21 boards/8Blocks on 29% ((I know he not a scorer but he had offensive game especially in game 7 but not this time). I can also go to Wilt 1965 Mathchup game 7 with the only 30-30 performance with 14 Blocks. Again it 50/50 with those two. Russell did Revolutionize The defensive end in basketball, Wilt Revolutionized Basketball rulebook (6 Rules changes that was implemented throughout all of basketball). Wilt saved the nba and made the nba a economic profit, nobody was selling out until he showed up. No 100k contracts until after Wilt showed up. Russell vs Wilt saved nba. The same way Jordan made the game global, Wilt did the same to North America!. Russell Revolutionize the way games was coached strategically. Wilt changed the way the game was played and viewed.
i always wish the media gave wilt credit...he had a 73 point 48 rebound game...thats crazy to men in any era on any surface..i cant do that in video games even if I change the ratings rules...thats a teams stat line
Good observation about Havlicek and Bird. I’m a somewhat biased cat from south Boston but you think about basketball the way I do. It’s rare for me to come across someone with as much historical NBA knowledge as myself. To me Kobe is a bigger Allen Iverson which is still fantastic. What gets lost in the noise is in Kobe’s prime, the other two big time wings (McGrady and Pierce) put up similar numbers and you could argue more dominant as they faced double and triple teams. I could go on and on. Moses Malone is another guy lost in the sauce. For about 5 years he was the best center in the league while still basically in Kareem’s prime. (77-83)
LeBron is a quitter...And that reason alone should put him out of any discussions. He, stat wise is a great player! But him above anyone in any top 10 list is suspect...Kobe, the only player EVER to score 600+ pts in the playoffs 3 straight seasons!

Russell 10? Wilt 11? How are you comfortable listing that? My oh my, yo overstand Bill Russell easily top 5 an as far as Wilt? We weren't fortunate enough to watch him but from the eye test on his game videos we may never see a talent/domination like that again, ever! Wilt was debating on coming back in the 80s, let that sink in.
Kareem 7? Yo Tim Duncan is nowhere near Kareem. Kareem an Jordan are interchangeable, and you put him 7th? He dominated high school, college an the pro's. He's a 6 time mvp lol. Do you watch basketball? Straight up yo this list shouldn't exist.
If I'm not mistaken some of Bill Russell's stats like blocks were not recorded initially. From the few games I've seen of him that seemed to be a major part of his game.
I definitely got Kobe in the top 10. -5 chips -11x all nba first teams -2x scoring champion -9x all defensive first teams (record) -And he was the best player in the league from about 2007-2010 I know he has only 1 MVP. But that's not enough to keep him out of the top 10 for me.
I definitely don't have Kobe in the top 10 -5 chips (kobe was only the man for 2) -2x scoring Champion (Kobe is known for scoring but only 2 scoring titles) -9x all defensive first team (its joke Kobe has these, most overrated defender all time) -LBJ was the best player in the NBA 07-2010 -Only 1 MVP -Only 2 FMVPs (2010 one was highly controversial, Gasol had a legit case for it) Kobe is all time great but that he said he might be the most overrated and overhyped player in NBA history!

These opinion shows just can't afford to even mention Bird's name anymore. Because they know that their target audience of ignorant NBA youngsters doesn't want to.hear or be told the honest truth about how great some slow goofy looking white boy was from the 80's... IN NO WAY would they EVER accept Bird being a Top 5 player (even though it's undeniable). Stephen A and Max Kellerman both ADMITTED THIS when last talking about TOP players... THEIR audience DOES NOT want to hear ANYMORE about Larry Bird OR Hakeem (which surprised me even more!) LOL! Even mentioning Bird's name on First Take, Undisputed or Cowerd's AWFUL show is now considered a dirty word. The producers will edit it right out. It's a fineable offense! Stephen A has lost ALL credibility and is now just another ESPN whore that is told what to say and what opinions to have. He's been reporting on the NBA for 40 years and this is how bad it's now gotten.... Here is Stephen A's current Top 5 EVER List: Jordan, Lebron Curry KD Shaq How the fuck does this guy sleep at night?
And Babe Ruth was damn good! Wilt is one of the ONLY player to beat a team with 4 Hall of Famers. Russ, Havlicheck, Cousy, Jones. Please tell me another great player he played with in Philly? Wilt did whatever he wanted, when he wanted. When he got his "Dream team" they set a record. Just my opinion, but if Wilt was in Boston???
30:17 chronicles, stats don’t matter with bill russell. and stats don’t matter with westbrick and lbj. so when do they matter??? dismissing stats when they’re low and when they’re high is rather contradictory. make merits for one side of the stat discussion for more clarity.
Hello Chronicles of Judah I notic you say that Kobe couldn't thrive outside of the Phil Jackson system which is why he isn't top 10. But also wouldn't you concede jordan couldn't do that either?
Some hilarious commentary bro! Outside of your thoughts on Isiah Thomas (I think you highly overrate him) we agree for the most part across the board. I could see ranking Kobe as high 9th & as low as 14th. Enjoyed your analysis. Shannon Sharpe....🤦🏼♂️
All of the dominant and I mean dominant Centers are in my top 10. And there are 5 off the top of my head that puts Kobe out of my top 10 because I'm taking MJ, Magic, Bird, Tim, and LeBron. I mean for nearly 8 years Kobe wasn't the best player on his own team.
LeBron to me is like the John Elway of basketball. His numbers make a case for him being an all time great, but he's lost more championships than he's won.
Shannon is Dylan in Chappell’s show skit. Shannon’s like “ name the 5 greatest basketball players of all time lebron James, lebron James, lebron James, lebron James and lebron James. Lol
Hakeem is better than Shaq but Shaq is greater. I think there should be a differentiation between the Greatest players and the best/better players. Like I remember this guy talking about how Tom Brady may be the greater QB but Aaron Rogers is the better one and the people on the panel just couldn't comprehend what he was saying lol. Greatness factors in accolades and great moments and statistics and all that. When talking about who is better though it's just all about raw skill.
wait so u allow bird to slide when he won and wasnt the main reason to lead his team. But when kobe averages 27 ppg in finals u say shaq carried him and it doesnt count...
I love your content, but... I feel like you're extremely biased in favor of old school players. I agree they need to be recognized alot more than the media is willing to acknowledge or admit. However, you said Lebron never had to face tough teams to win championships like Bird did? What about the Warriors? Both with KD and without. What about Duncan's Spurs? Both those teams are all time great teams and account for 7 of Lebron's 9 finals matchups. There were other tough teams that won championships but imo arent all time great teams that Lebron had to face in the playoffs as well. The Pistons team that stopped Shaq and Kobes 4 peat, the Celtics big 3 plus Rondo. Thens there's the Thunder with KD, Russ, Harden, and Ibaka who didn't win a ring but only because Lebron beat them.

Kobes game was flawed but despite that he can easily be argued top ten, i wouldn't do top 5 though. Theres sometimes a willing blindness to his accomplishments and ability-- he was top 3 players for a decade alongside shaq and duncan, both who i also have top 10. Got robbed an MVP or two imo
Except Bath Ruth lead the Yankees for their first championship. Also, he lead Boston to multiple championships in Boston before he went to the Yankees.
Thanks Cronicle you've made me laugh today! "I got to see a chick naked 5 times!!" It makes me crazy when people say Lebron's better because he got to the finals 8 times vs MJ's 6 - well Lebron has had an easier post season conference his entire career. It's easy to see - Lebron hs only beaten 9 50+ win teams post season while MJ beat 20 in fewer series'
Kobe has 5 championships Lebron has 3 all three of his chips came from someone else doing. Every since he joined Dwade and won those chips, now he’s the greatest player ever how? Why?
Stop acting like Kobe was co-star to Shaq when they were together. He won all the finals mvp because he was the best player and by far the most dominant. You can argue 02 they were kinda 50-50, but 2000 & 01, not even close. Shaq got 3 Finals MVP, Kobe got 2. He also never missed the playoffs, even when he was old & fat, unlike Kobe. Longevity would be a factor if their prime was even close. Shaq got to the Finals in every team he was on in his prime (Orlando 95, Lakers & Miami champions). Shaq vs Kobe is not even close. You can argue O'Neal is the greatest big man ever, no one even thinks Kobe is greatest SG ever lol

You said that you need more then one great player to win multiple championships. What about Hakeem's back to back in the mid 90's. My b-ball knowledge isn't as vast as yours, but looking at the Rocket's 1993/94 & 94/95 roster, Hakeem would be the only player who would be a top 30 player.
Clyde Drexler ,who would have been a certified hofer without adding his tenure with the rockets ,top 10 all time nba shooting guard without his time with rockets considered . Drexlers time with the rockets completed his career resume , it didn't make him a hofer .He had already appeared in two nba finals before his finals appearance at Houston . His impact was as significant as many all time top 30 players, the difference between Clyde Drexler and several all time top 30 players is interchangeable . The rockets second Championship team weren't going to capture a second championship ,let alone get to the finals without adding Drexler and dismissing Otis Thorpe who's impact wasn't effecient enough to help assist Hakeem enough ,Drexlers impact was what that second rockets team desperately needed .
Kareem ,Russell ,Jordan ,are literally interchangeable at any of the top 3 all time spots ,each bring authentic context to why they are the goat ,there can be no sign of being disgruntled in a debate against anyone who gives a fact based testimony on the behalf of either gentleman .Many of the Jordan fanatics are infested with raw emotion , limited nba player historical knowledge ,and are victims of the excessive sports media outlets , multitude of endorsement branches , that bombarded them literally 24 hours a day as a odolescent youth growing up that Jordan was the goat without objective content being applied , just economic biased towards Jordan for being the first influential great international nba player , ridiculous generational biase " the outdated , false ole school players couldn't possibly be supperior then modern better athletic players mantra" that has clouded rational analogy and presented a free lease for emotional ,uneducated perspective to be the holy grail. My objective top 10 lists 1 Kareem 2 Jordan , 3Russell ,4Magic 5Chamberlain 6 Lebron 7Bird 8 Hakeem 9 Shaquille 10 Duncan .
Russell couldn't score and played on a team with 7 Hof. LeBron isn't a shell of himself in the finals, just a final which was horrendous but every finals after he has been incredible and his numbers have been insane, especially the last 3. Wilt should be higher, he was the most dominant player ever at least statistically, he led the league in assists as a center.
Yes i agree Lebron has had great moments in finals, but they're not moments that snatch the chip from the other team because he wasn't cut out do do that which is okay, we have to evaluate 3-5 which just isn't good enough compared to his own incredible standards
I disagree, 2016 he put on probably the best finals performance since one of Jordan's. Maybe better, and he didn't start out great for the first few games but picked it up when it "mattered most" isn't that what "clutch" is? 2013 in game 6 &7 which were elimination games he ended closed them out with 32, and 37 points respectively. LeBron may not have had that innate killer but he definitely developed it. 2011 will always be a blemish on his legacy, as it should be, but considering what was "allegedly" going on in his personal life, and all the finals performances he's had after I would say that's the exception not the rule.
look, theres no need for feelings in a mature debate. The facts are Lebron could very easily be 1-7 but you could never make an argument the ones he's lost could've been W's. The point is, compared to his unbelievable talents and greatness 3-5 is very much below average. Its fax, this is why in terms of greatness he's not top 5.

Bill Russell single handily changed basketball defense! a complete Winner throughout his entire basketball career. peep what all his teammates say regarding how important he was.. absolutely a top 10 player.
Top 5 player and the greatest winner. Driving force!
I'd take Havlicek over Kobe...easily
@DES JAMES Kobrick ? ?
@@TheLtrain85 Why?
@@yungswish4588 there is no sound explanation for that opinion lol
It's not Wilt fault he couldn't be stopped. That's why he's top 5. He still got records that will never be broken, give him a top 5 spot.
This dude isn't as smart as he thinks
@@Rvench my problem is wilt showed he could do what russel did but russsel can't do what wilt did
I'm an 80s baby & as far as my generation goes Kobe is a top 5 guy in my opinion. I know he was on a couple stacked teams, but his attitude & skill set made him an elite & heartless, winner. The last ring he got with Gasol & I think Odom was proof he could win without Shaq. I don't like to judge any athletes before my time, so he's top 5 to me.💯
When Shannon hinted that appearances in finals being the validation for greatness, I thought of Jim Kelly and the Buffalo Bills. LOL
🤣🤣🤣 my baby LeBron Chamberlain.
trash, overrated@DES JAMES
skip is white savoring up larry birds legacy on national t.v.….hes not better than lebron by any measure....it hurt him to hear that bird was that bad at 24 in the 81 finals..cause he was...he was a end year 24 year old rookie meaning in 1979 he was 22 and still lost to a 20 year old magic in the ncaa finals lol imange if a 19 year old lebron in college beat a 21 year old kd or kobe lol
Shaun King wow the hate lol
Shaun King bird was a better shooter and rebounder that’s about it , he’s a better passer, more mvps , more finals mvps , and was better way longer than bird was
Shaun King Lol speaking of stacked teams were the Celtics not among the most stacked teams in nba history? 4 hall of famers and they swept Jordan
A J u sir are no Lebron fan. Stop it
this is what i mean, just because I'm honest about the guy it means i can't be a fan. come on man the guys all time great but he aint that guy who gonna win you a chip when it comes down to it. Wasn't cut out for it so lets just enjoy the rest of his incredible attributes.
LEBRONISGOAT623 G he's honest.
Lebron has been way better in the clutch since coming back to Cleveland but he's always had instances where he's passive in the clutch. He won't ever pass Jordan after seeing that 2011 finals and in some of the finals recently he's made terrible cost worthy mistakes.
Nice way of conforming bro
@chroniclesofjudah144 I think people fail to realize that even though kobe won 3 rings with Shaq, it wasn't until Kobe took his game to the next level did the lakers start winning championships.. Shaq was on the lakers 3 yrs befor kobe became a starter and was unable to win a championship or get to the finals even thougj he was able to bring the magic to the finals years earlier and not as dominant (yes he had penny)... i think we need to give kobe a little bit more credit brother lol on what he brought to those lakers team and then him winning 2 without Shaq just cements it.... ps not a fan boy lol
riley riley they will never give him his credit

Your killin me with the 5 and 5a you cant have 13 players in your top 5 lmaoo but your shannon sharp impersonation is hilarious😂😂
How can you have Wilt Chamberlain over Bill Russell? I would also have Tim Duncan over Kobe Bryant on my list.
It is all subjective man.... #1 Jordan #2 Magic #3 Bird #4 Kareem #5 Russell #6 Duncan #7 Shaq #8 Hakeem #9 Doctor J #10 Wilt
Wack list
i always wish the media gave wilt credit...he had a 73 point 48 rebound game...thats crazy to men in any era on any surface..i cant do that in video games even if I change the ratings rules...thats a teams stat line
Judah you had me crying at work with the Shannon impersonation
LeBron is a quitter...And that reason alone should put him out of any discussions. He, stat wise is a great player! But him above anyone in any top 10 list is suspect...Kobe, the only player EVER to score 600+ pts in the playoffs 3 straight seasons!
LeBron won 3 Finals MVPs and 4 MVP's. To say he is not top 10 is laughable.

These opinion shows just can't afford to even mention Bird's name anymore. Because they know that their target audience of ignorant NBA youngsters doesn't want to.hear or be told the honest truth about how great some slow goofy looking white boy was from the 80's... Nigga post the stats for each of those players first NBA finals...
Maxwell got the award cause he was guarding Moses. He did not outplay Bird. Even tho Kobe played great that series, Shaq still played better
Ali Ali yea I agree that’s what I’m saying. Maxwell got it the same reason Iggy got it over Steph. Because he guarded the best player
Shaq was averaging like 38 and 22 💀 big difference from Larry bird averaging 2 less ppg than maxwell and more in every other stat category.
@@zackrodriguez7519 😂 Kobe fans so emotional. Kobe is overrated as a defender as well and arguably should only have 1 fmvp
Shaq and Kobe couldn’t have 4peated when the spurs won in 03

4.Kareem
5.Lebron James
6.Larry Bird
7.Shaq
8. Wilt Chamberlain
9. Tim Duncan
10. Hakeem
I cant believe how low they put Larry Bird on their lists. Even as a Lakers fans I knew that Larry Bird was an incredible and he is no.2 in my list after Michael Jordan
MJ, then Bird, then Kobe in my book.
Kareem and Jordan battling it out for my No. 1 spot. It's close.
The dude was really named "cornbread"? Lol
Yo you probably already said this but, LeShannon Sharpe James some times resembles Donkey from Shrek, know? Example 5:02.
#1 LeBron Abdul Jabaar...lmao I'm weak. This is the funniest video review you have on your channel.
Why?
LOL coming from a Kobe fan that is rich. Bron was Finals MVP of ALL of his championships.. Kobe was MVP in only 2 of his.
I'm not putting Shaq over Kobe. Kobe won more chips without Shaq, had more accolades and maximized his abilities.
@@bigbowss9817 2001 not close but Kobe avg 29 points 7 rebounds 6 assists in the playoffs. Sit ur dumb ass down kobe better than shaq
@@bigbowss9817 shaq got swept 5 times career shut up lls

Dude, Shaq was the best player on 3 championship teams and Kobe was the best player on 2. This is simple.
I would definitely put Larry Bird above LeBron James
Wilt to me was the most dominant center he was stronger and faster than Shak.
He gave all credit to Bill Russell saying he was a better teammate.
@@MrJDR_ wilt averaged the most assists for a center in NBA history he was a great teammate after awhile
@@Rvench So true, he could of played for 20 years if he wanted to. A hall of Famer in two sports. Basketball and Volleyball.
@@MrJDR_ Chronicles is just over critical and saying bill russell is in the top 5 is like saying Robert horry is in your top 20

3:15-4:00 is so contradicting. Get your list and stick to it Judah.
Ok how Kobe above Wilt in the best players to pass for the Lakers if you put Wilt above Kobe in your top 10 greatest NBA players of on all time please explain me that who's better for you Wilt or kobe.
Kobe has done more as a laker
My top 10
Michael Jordan
Kareem Adul Jabbar
Hakeem Olajon
Larry Bird
Magic Johnson
Wilt Chamberlain
Bill Russell
Tim Duncan
LeBron James
Shaquille O'Neal
LeBron Bird tho!!!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Dream didn't really roast Shaq. If you look back at there numbers head to head in the 95 finals, there not that far off. Dream's team just outplayed a team in Orlando that mentally wasn't ready.
bernard washington I always say that too. Olajuwon severely outplayed Ewing the prior year too.
I put Shaq over Kobe, neither are top 5 IMO but both top 10 for sure, LeBron also in the lower half of the top 10 IMO... it's crazy how LeBron fans will lose their minds if you rate Kobe over LeBron.
If we go by rings being a leader or 1 or maybe... 2 opt... not a roll player...
1) Russell 11 rings
2) Jordan 6 rings
3) Kareem 6 rings
4) Magic 5 rings
5) Kobe 5 rings
6) Ducan 5 rings
7) Shaq 4 rings
8) Lebron 3 rings
9) Bird 3 rings
10) Wilt 2 rings
Then my plus 11 would be The Dream! with 2 rings... and this is Fact Not Fiction! because this is how many rings..
they have, ending their career, some being a one time the first opt...then later on in their career,,,became the 2... or A-b with another superstar...or Allstar...
let's not forget...your not a bum!
IF YOU MAKE THE TOP 10 TO TOP 20 LISTS OK!
bird may have had 8 points but who won the series chris?...on a team with parish nate maxwell mchale ml car rick robey chris ford gerald henderson you have to share the wealth..bron scored 17 a night in his prime and lost the series..smdh ..bird avg. 15.3 15.3 rebs 7 assits and 2.3 steals and would of won finals mvp if not for that game 4 where he had 8 and maxwell had 24 cause thats what tipped the finals mvp to him...

7.Lebron (Shell of himself in NBA finals)
8.Wilt
9.Timmy D (Above Hakeem based off success)

Its fax, this is why in terms of greatness he's not top 5.
this is a very ignorant and un learned statement on Russell.
Why are we discussing this again?
shaq so good why he didnt win with penny ?
