I want to reduce the amount of plastic wraps and plastic bags I use, and encourage my family to do the same 🌿
YESSS you will definitely inspire your family by leading by example ♥️
My grandparents just got a compost bin so we take our compost and drop it off at their house and it just makes me feel so much better:)
I love that so much! I hope to one day have my own big compost bin ❤️
This is amazing not enough people do things like this because they don’t want the “inconvenience” of carrying around reusable containers and silverware, so it’s so cool to know that people do care 💖
Totally! The cool thing is it's becoming "a trend" in some ways, and I love that because it encourages good green behaviour :)
Start bringing my own cups from home to coffee and teashops; use reusable sandwich and snack bags!
Yes yes yes! ♥️
This inspired me to be more mindful to Earth and use less waste, love your content! ❤️
Thank yoU Sarah!
Honestly, I would really want to start bringing my own mason jars and reusable straws when I leave the house. Hong Kong is such a fast pace city and people tend to easily forget the importance of keeping the earth clean and healthy. I really do hope that there will be a change! Thank you Remy, for making the earth healthier Xx
I feel the same about NYC! It can feel like a pain to carry things around but knowing that we have so many convenience centric spots, it helps me so much to be prepared xo
Loved the doggo features in this video 😍
I really want to start composting, Hopefully my local farmers market have a compost 🤞🏽
Heheheh ♥️ Doggos
I really want to start shopping in the bulk section and start making less plastic waste. The earth is so beautiful in general i want keep it that way. We live on such a beautiful planet 🌍
YESS!! Let's keep her beautiful ♡♡♡
I’ve started bringing my own bottle and utensils with me when I’m out, but I still use too much single use plastic at home when saving things in the fridge. Those reusable ziplock bags and fruit/veggie half savers are something that I would get so much use out of!
Aw man me too! for me the biggest source is snacks wrapped in plastic but... I'm getting better about it :)
I always bring my own cup for my tea and bottle for water, reusable shopping bags and containers for food!
Love that Ruth!! ♥️
I definitely want to reduce my use of single use plastic in my bathroom! Like floss and shower stuff!
Ooh yessssss! I'd love to find a biodegradable floss
i started:
• composting! I really love it and i don’t feel guilty about throwing away food scraps anymore. It’s also super easy!
• using a menstrual cup and reusable pads
• buying more fruit and veggies at the farmers market or buy them not wrapped in plastic
• using reusable bags for literally everything
• using reusable straws
• i really want to get a hydroflask for my birthday 😁
• going to thrift stores more often, also for clothes
LOVE THAT MINNE!!!! I also love my cup and I use the menstrual underwear instead of pads :)
I want to start taking my own cups and bags with me when I go shopping. Thanks for the tips!
So welcome! Glad I could be helpful ♥️
I so agree with you about making sustainable changes and not try to change all your habits all at once! One of the next zero/low waste things I would really like to change is to start buying stuff in bulk (such as rice and legumes). Just need to try and find a good bulk store near me :)
I know what you mean! We don't have GREAT bulk stores, but we have some decent ones and honestly I find bulk shopping so fun :)
I would love to start bringing my own cups and straws into restaurants and using biodegradable bags. After watching a few of your videos I became vegan and feel a lot better about what I've done to help the environment. Thank you for making these helpful and encouraging videos for people who want to be green!🌏
Aw you're amazing!!! That is so so epic. Thank YOU for watching and I'm so glad I could be helpful!
I want to stop bringing plastic bags and other single-use packaging for lunch, as well as stop buying food in single-use packaging (fruit, veggies, etc). Love the video!! I've reconsidered a lot of my habits because of you and I feel so much better about my choices!
Aww I'm so glad to hear that, and go you!!!! I honestly feel like having fun reusable items makes packing lunch more fun too :P maybe that's just me hahah
Veggiekins no I totally agree! I can be more creative with the different containers that I buy and find new ways to work around single-use packaging. Also when I pack my lunch, it’s like playing Tetris to get everything to fit perfectly in my lunch bag😂
I only discovered your channel a few weeks ago, but I'm loving it! You're such an inspiration to living a healthier and greener life 🌿💓
I'm currently focusing on reducing my plastic waste but I'm having a hard time with it since most of the common grocery stores in the Netherlands wrap all their fruits and veggies in plastic. 😔
Aw thank you SO much for the sweet words girl!!!!
The biggest habit I would like to adopt is to try to be prepared because i know how hard it is to when you are out and about
Yess!!! that's always my biggest fault.
I've been bringing reusable bags for 2 years now and it's become a habit to have some with my at all time. I've never used reusable straws yet!
LOVE! Isn't it so easy once it becomes a habit?
I’ve never used food huggers, but I could definitely use one for avocados!
Totally! It's so cute too
one green habit i would love to do is definitely to limit my wast and always bring a bottle, straw and utensils with me everywhere i go
Yess! I'm so good about bringing a bottle, but need to remember my utensils more often :)
I have been trying to be more sustainable recently and some habits I’d like to keep up with are swapping to keep cups when out for coffee and buying groceries with little packaging 🌱❤️
Love that! The keep cups are also so cute :P
I want to start purchasing fewer plastic products! I already do the things you've mentioned (reusable cups + bag, etc), so I think the next step is being mindful about buying things in plastic. Instead of buying nut butter or granola in plastic, I will look for glass and/or make my own :)
Me too! Snacks always get me, but if I do purchase plastic, you can go for larger sizes if they're available, that way you get more product, with less plastic (versus buying like 5 small bags of something)
Start bringing my own reusable cup, straws, containers and produce bags! It is time to start being more loving towards the environment
I definitely want to start remembering to put my lunches in reusable bags rather than ziplock bags! 😅I already use mesh bags for shopping and reusable cups and such.
Hehe yesss ziplock bags are a hard habit to kick for sure
Composting using a local farmers market or share compost & recycling soft plastics back at the grocers!
Love that!!!!
I would love to adopt all of these wonderful habits! I will start by buying reusable grocery little baggies. 🥰
Yay!! love that so much :) Hope you find a cute one too hehe
I love that you're sharing your tips💕 I really want to stick to the habit of bringing my own cups and containers where ever I go and use the reusable bags for freezing food🌍🌱💕
Totally!! Freezing food is also a great way to save on food waste too :)
I’d like to start bringing reusable cups and reusable bags with me when I go places! I hate using plastic cups or having to use plastic bags for produce when I’m shopping.
Same! It makes me feel so bad when it does happen, but as long as we do our best that's all that matters right? :)
I'd love to start composting and being more mindful of what I buy (especially skincare & make-up, those are my weaknesses 😂)
Mm yes!! Love that point
I have been wanting to get produce bags for a while so that is definitely the next habit I would like to add!
They are so amazing!!
Bringing my own coffee cups, reusable straws and bags with me wherever I go! Also trying to buy from bulk food stores as much as I can :)
Loooooove!
i'm going to start bringing my reusable cups, straws, and containers with me when i go out,, and also buying less things with plastic waste or wraps ! 🌿
Love that so much!
I love this video, so many good ideas! You already inspired me to bring my own produce bags when grocery shopping :). I want to start bringing tupperware as well so that anytime I might order food or have some leftovers, I can use that instead of getting a takeaway box!
Aw thanks so much!! I'm glad it was helpful for you. I LOVE that leftovers idea! SO forward thinking.
I use reusable bags for groceries but sometimes I forget them, so I want to make sure I always have at least one in my car!
Oh TOTALLY! I wish I had a car, if I did I'd keep one of everything in there. Such a great way to be prepared!
I would love to start using stasher bags to limit the amount of plastic I use for all my snacks! I snack all the time so I think this will help the earth and keep my tummy fed haha
Omg same HAHA that's why I love stashers... snacker #1 over here :P
I've been reducing the amount of paper waste i make so instead to taking notes on a piece of paper, I started to go digital and taking notes o my iPad/phone!
That's a great one!!! I didn't think of that when I was still in school
I’m going to try and not give in to buying an individual packet of crisps (or chips depending where your from) and to buy a large bag and pour into reusable pots to take to school 🌍❤️
Hah! Chips where I'm from :P But i love that and it's always a great technique, buying bigger instead of the little ones.
Veggiekins 🥰❤️
I love your positivity!
Aw thanks so much Maria!!
You're welcome!!!
i’ve been trying to bring my own cup to cafes! it’s easier to just keep one in my bag so i don’t forget it, so i’ve been trying to remember to do that!
I love that!! Especially if you're a daily coffee drinker, it's a great habit to try to build :)
I've started to purchase travel food boxes/bentos and utensils so I can eat from then when I travel. I'd like to grow it to include things like cups and bags for waste I don't eat.
I love that! Travel is a huge struggle for me personally as far as avoiding waste
Start using reusable straws and filling up in bulk with my reusable mason jars! 😁🌱
Yesssss!! mason jar love
I have a stashed bag but would love to have more and fade out the use of ziplocks! I also want to start carrying utensils!
Totally! It's kind of an investment but as you start to collect them it gets easier to stop using ziplocks :)
We put hemp seeds on our avocado toast! It’s delicious! You should try it! I’m currently binge watching your channel and am learning so much from you!
Thank you so much! i'm so glad ♡
One green habit I want to adapt is using less paper napkins!
Love that!!!!
I’ve adopted using reusable straws but I want to take it further and start bringing my own jars/tumblrs into cafes😊
Yesss! :) it can be a little awkward sometimes but it's honeslty such a great habit!
I can’t wait to start shopping for myself as low-waste as possible! I’m already living the -save-every-reusable-container-things-come-in life and loving it haha
Love that Tanya!! You go girl
The next step I would like to take is starting to buy shampoo/conditioner/body wash products in bulk! I definitely need to try to find the time to head to specialized bulk stores to fill my own containers
Oooh love that! I agree, it's hard to find even in NYC, but is such an awesome thing to do
Start to compost!!! And a backyard garden ;)
Omg jealous!!! WIsh I had a backyard
one green habit i’d like to adopt is to eat less meat. i also want to start using reusable straws and cups everywhere i go 😊
TRUE ! :) More plants = better for the planet. Love that
I’d like to start bringing more food out with me! And if there is something I want to get out, I want to plan ahead of time & bring containers or jars. I already keep stainless steel straws in my purse with bamboo cutlery, but I feel like I could do better! 🤗 great video!
You're awesome! I totally agree. planning ahead is the WAY!
Start bringing my own cups from home to coffee 💜
Love love that
I’m working on fewer ziploc bags! I also bought produce bags for the grocery!
Yay!! Love produce bags you go girl
I would love to buy all of my produce with no packaging or stickers from farmers markets to reduce even more waste. Also buying all the essentials from the bulk food package free stores ☺️☺️❤️❤️
Ooh true!! Stickers :O
this summer, I want to start using alternatives to ziploc bags & plastic wraps // find a compost drop-off spot in my city!
Yessss! :) I hope you find a compost spot ♥️
I’d love to cut down on using plastic ziploc bags and make the switch over to stasher bags! As well as shopping at farmers markets for produce more often to reduce plastic waste and support local farmers and businesses! I also would like to thrift shop more in an effort to be more environmentally friendly, but we don’t have many thrift stores where I am from... so just shopping less and making do with what I have for the time being instead of constantly seeking out “trendy” items that will go out of style within the next two weeks 🙃
I bring my own water bottle with me, but I definitely want to start using my own reusable container when getting other drinks out and about.
Totally!! When I'm desperate, sometimes I'll get smoothies in my water bottle lol but it definitely helps to have a bunch of containers for different things :)
Yay so happy you’re doing an international giveaway 🥰🥰🥰 Im trying to use bunz and trading platforms or buying second hand as my first option!! Always better to use preloved goods before buying new!
Ooh I don't know what bunz is, but love that!!
i need to try those veggie savers i always use like half of veggies and fruits oml!
Hahaha right? It's so useful
I've added reusable bags to my car so Everytime I need to go grocery shopping my bags are already ready!
Really want to start bringing my own cups to coffee shops
The coffee shops on my college's campus offer discounts when you bring your own cup, so I want to get into the habit of doing that.
I LOVE THAT! ♥️
I need to buy produce bags for groceries. Loved all the zero waste products you showed
Ahh yeah they're the best!! ♥️ :)
I’m doing my best bringing my own cup with me but I would also love to start using reusable ziploc bags, I think for snacks they are a great alternative and definitely helpful! Thanks for sharing your tips!!
Totally! ziplocks were the hardest for me but I am so glad I found stashers :)
"In case you guys don't like avocado" What?? - That cracked me up haha
Teehee, I meaaaan we accept everyone here buuuut... concerned for anyone who doesn't like avo :P
i would like to limit even more of my plastic use, I have been replacing single-use plastic with better alternatives. however, it still feels like im throwing out a lot of plastic. this would include going more often to the farmers market (I'm going tomorrow) and putting one of my reusable straws in my backpack and buying less snack (these are always packed in so much plastic ;(. oh and i cant wait to replace my lunch box with a new stainless steal bento box!
Ohhh man!!! the snacks always get me too, even nowadays! But I do my best :)
id love to start bulk shopping w/ my own jars!
Yess! it's honestly kind of fun haha
One thing I always forget when I'm out is to ask for no receipt if possible bc I never need them and they are such a waste! Also remembering my reusable bags so I don't just keep buying new ones.
GREAT tip! I'm guilty of forgetting too
I want to start thrifting. I just found out about the thrift stores around my country and I really want to visit!! Hopefully I will start thrifting once I finish with my finals!
Omg same! I'm terirble at thrifting but trying to get the hang of it more
I LOVE YOU!!! 💖💖💖
Love you right back!!!!
something ive been struggling with but really trying to incorporate in my life is to reduce my carbon footrprint by shopping more local and try to shop package/plastic free as much as possible!!
Good point!! Love that.
I want to bring a reusable cup when getting coffee and I’ve also been bringing reusable bags when going to the grocery store.
Love that! Esp if you're a daily coffee drinker that'll make a huge impact. ♡
Remy!! I bring reusable coffee cups to Starbucks. Your so pretty though!
That is so dope! :) And thank youuu
I drink a lot of water out of plastic water bottles so i want to try and just have an actual water bottle . I would also like to get some for my family as well, because we all just buy cases of plastic water bottles lol. Also since we are a big family, we just reuse our plastic bags for other uses around our house (trash bags and such) but i would like to start bringing a reusable bag for groceries.
Omg yes!!! My family does that (still) and it drives me CRAZY, but we finally got cute reusable matching bottles and now we're all re-filling and saving plastic :))
yay, I love a new video on something I'm passionate about. I get the introvert problems, so please don't apologise. You don't own us a apology
Awww love you girl! I'm the same way, havent purchased paper towels for years! It's such an easy way to save money, but most importantly the earth. Also, the biobags (for compost) can also be used for dog droppings!
Ahh, thank you so much for recommending me those bags! I'll see if I can get my hands on them :)
I’m trying to get rid of using plastic and start composting🌱
Woo yess!!
I’ll love to bring my own Mug and straw to get coffee, and bring my own bag when I go shopping. 💙✨
Love that! ♥️
I am making it my goal to start composting this summer!!
I love that so much!!! You go Milly
I want to start compose my fruit & vegetable scrapes 🌱
Love that!! :)
I’d like to stop eating processed foods in packaging! This giveaway is so cool❤️🤞🤞
Aww I need to do the same, that's my biggest source of waste for sure.
I’m moving away to college in August and I’m planning on going minimalist and low waste. I am hoping to start a compost bin or two on my campus so other people can join in!
YOU GO GIRLL!! I love that so much. My little sister is in highschool and just got her school to convert to using compostable utensils instead of single use, I'm so proud of her and I think campuses are an amazing place to effect change.
I want to start buying secondhand as much as possible!
LOVE THAT!!! I also want to step up my thrifting skills
The one green habit I want to adopt is using metal straws
Love love love
Really appreciate this eco content on a vegan channel! 💚
Aww thanks Soph!! ♥️ I do my best :DDD
Hi 👋🏼, I just bought that vegan beeswax cling foil kinda thing. Right now I’m really trying to get my boyfriend to think more sustainable he actually gets annoyed with me sometimes. But he knows it’s important for me and the earth soooo 🤷🏼♀️
Something that I’m implementing is using a menstrual cup. It takes some time getting used to but so far I’m loving it. 🥰
Omg I feel you girl!!! I FINALLY got my bf to use a reusable water bottle (he used to buy 1-2 plastic bottles daily), and I was so proud of him. He also carries a reusable tote I left at his house once and I honestly was SO HAPPY. Also, yes!! Cup club
I would love to start composting!
Compostin gis so fun!! :)
i got so much inspooooo thanks !!!! 🥰🥰❤️❤️😘😘😘😘
I'm so glad! :-) I'm still learning myself but it's a journey right :-)
yes 😘 luv u💗
Lotssssss off love from Turkey 🇹🇷
Thank you!!! seni seviyorum :P
I would like to start bringing my own containers for when I’m buying something
Love this Ana!
I'd love to get better at saying no to plastic bottles when I'm out
Thanks for this giveaway, Remy!! 🌱
♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
I bought metal straws recently but I haven’t gotten the chance to get reusable cups. I also hope to start incorporating meatless/ vegan meals and eventually transitioning to a full vegan (eventually starting my own compost) :)
Compost is goals!!!! One day :P I want my own!!
I would like to bring my own utensils to restaurants!
Love that!! Especially good for snack places or like ice cream spots :)
I'd like to start walking with a reusable cup for my drinks (coffee, smoothies, etc), i always forget a reusable straw or cup.
Same! It's handy if you have like a "kit' and just have a reusable bag with things in it so that whenever you're in a rush you can grab it on your way out of the house!
I definitely want to start bringing my own bottle to coffee shops. I love getting coffee but I feel like I’m incredibly guilty of using way too much plastic.
Aww totally! That's an easy way to save on cups, and you can get a really cute one too :P
I’d like to remember to bring my own cups to cafes more often instead of using paper wax lined cups!
Yessss :)
I would love to find better more sustainable ways to keep my avocado halves! I have a wax wrap but they’re so expensive in Hawaii ($32+) for one. I love the one that you used in your video!!
Omg wow!! That's pretty pricey 0___0 I knew things were expensive in Hawaii but dang!!
Bring my own take out containers to restaurants :)
Love that so much!
I want to start composting my food waste!
Yess! It's low key kind of fun haha
Love your videos there so inspirational
Aw thank you Karolina
I want to use less plastic and bring my own reusable cups/ utensils when i can~
Yessss!! Love that Amy
I would love to start composting but my parents hate the idea cause they think it’ll be too smelly :( thanks for the giveaway Remy! Love you
I know what you mean! If you store in the freezer though, there's zero smell! :) common misconception hehe. Love you!
