I do wish people would be more adaptable when it comes to your content. It's so unfair people push you to go out and do "entertaining" things during a pandemic? You're doing what you're comfortable with. I understand, it may be boring to some, but pushing you to go out and explore for content during a global pandemic, nah. Especially in NYC. i love your homey apartment vlogs. i feel like we are on facetime. and i definitely need that since i live alone and I'm quarantined during my senior year.
Jackie Roberts You’re spitting out some knowledge! I, too, live alone. I’m just happy to see someone else. I could watch her vacuum and be entertained. The pandemic has definitely lowered my entertainment expectations.
can i just say.. the same people who are like “omg brooke u never leave ur apt” are the same people who would hate on u for being unsafe if you spent more time out/with friends! lol! people are so annoying i don’t know how u handle it!!!
Just wanted to say I feel like your content lately has been so WELL ROUNDED!!! Even though your videos have the same “lifestyle vibes” and common theme you always different types of videos throughout the week and I love it:) you’re killing it!!
Someone fill me in.. So people are pushing for her to be out in nyc and enjoy her time during a global pandemic. ( Also keeping in mind she’s in a major city so safety should be her top priority, not having her expensive camera and phone out to vlog and not being aware of her surroundings). But friends of her and even her own cohost gets draaaggggeeed for going out. If someone can explain the logic to me in a respectful way that would be greatly appreciated.
Hey Brooke, I think it would add a little something in the vlogs to start showing the city when you do go out! Not that you need to vlog the entire time you're out, but montages of the city & views would be cool :)
honestly i love how your content has been focused more on staying in during this time especially in wake of the pandemic, where many "influencers" have seemed to be promoting the opposite. as someone who recently moved to a big city in a pandemic too, watching your vlogs has definitely helped me feel more at home!!
Brooke, you seem like a totally different person now that you’re in New York! I mean that in a good way 😊 You seem so happy and more yourself. I’m so glad you’re doing well.
I moved to nyc the weekend everything shut down😵 and quarantined alone for two months (but that’s when I started my CZcams channel!) totally agree that nyc is still poppin and safe
i definitely agree with your nyc is dead thoughts. personally this is my favorite version of manhattan i’ve seen. i think it’s so fun and happy right now, while still being responsible and having our shit together!!
To be honest, I LOVE your content lately. It is relatable and I find it comforting and relaxing! Your videos are my number one choice when I want to relax haha. Love from Germany and stay safe!💕
I truly hope that you end up having a different/more positive experience, but for me/in my opinion, the NYC dating scene has been absolutely awful over the course of the two years that I've lived here. Just adding in how my own experience has been! Don't want you to lose hope though, and I think it's great that you remain optimistic and have a positive outlook on it. But is anyone else in the same boat as I am in?! Please tell me yes lol
This comment reminds me of another (former) NYC CZcamsr, Katy lol. I hear it's definitely not easy. Finding guys who actually want to be in long-term relationships is a gamble on it's own
@@chi2om HONESTLY! It's draining.Katy Bellote right? I loved her NYC dating videos, but glad she's now in LA if that's where she wants to be! Those videos made me feel less alone in this experience though lol, so I will definitely miss watching those.
@@hannahguzman123 Glad it's not just me lol. I was extremely lucky with my boyfriend i have currently and been with for 2 years now. I met him randomly and honestly was expecting him to be flaky like everyone else. There's so many young people in NYC but not a lot in this age group that want something serious.
Just moved to New York City and your moving videos were SO helpful! Honestly how confident you were in your move made me feel more comfortable moving to the city too.

I'm all for staying in your apartment alone most days. I live in the city and I'm in grad school and the majority of my outings are to campus. Inside my apartment is definitely where I feel safest on many levels like you said!
Hey Brooke! I’ve been a subscriber for a long time and am happy to see you’re living your best life in NYC. I felt compelled to say something because in your answer with regards to safety I feel you left out a huge part of what’s been going on that city over the past several months. Over the first half of 2020, homicides increased by 21% and shootings increased by 46% compared to same period in 2019. And in the first 7 months of 2020, murders have jumped 30%. In the month of July alone, the number of people murdered rose by 59% and shootings increased by 177% from the same period last year. Crime has dramatically increased in that city and people are fleeing at levels never seen before. Whether you blame that on the lack of leadership and enforcement of the law or COVID, I think it’s important to acknowledge. I hope you stay safe and I am happy to hear NYC has been a treating you well so far
As someone from NYC, you’ve been as safe as the rest of us! Definitely don’t push yourself to do things that make you uncomfortable but everything you’ve been doing in your vlogs is what locals have been doing for 2ish months now.
I feel like people are leaving nyc so safety wise, its not as many people to get sick from. It's worse to be at a big southern university right now than in the city
mirandaalexis I sound this. I go to WVU. And the amount of people who aren’t social distancing, wearing masks, and throwing parties are insane. The cases are rising. Now we are all online. It’s just a disaster.
brooke, i don’t usually comment but i love your content & especially in NYC🤍 this is coming from a girl who has had severe anxiety from the pandemic, i think you made the right choice moving to the city. You are young & this is your time. Live your life babe🤍
