19 years old, sat in the away stand screaming my absolute nut off, as a season ticket holder for United I must've been to 300 games over the years - I will never, ever forget this day. My favourite Premier League game of all time, the atmosphere that night was unbeatable and the drama on the pitch was just mental.
Didn't even find out about the tunnel incident till we got out after the match and that just made it all so much sweeter.
What. A. Night.
so lucky man...wish i was there
I also remember that night... I was in my mid 20's watching on tv with 4-5 friends. We can feel the atmosphere & tension even without watching from stadium. When the Ronaldo scored the second goal... Man... That was insane. You can imagine the noise in my house. Soon after my neighbour come to inspect as he think there was a fire or robbery.
Don't believe you.
Ur so lucky, ur age is same as Ronaldo's
I bet! it must be one hell of a night! I wish to be a season ticket holder one day and start watching games the way its supposed to be!
Roy Keane won the game before it started in the tunnel.

Giggs was an absolute genious. Played till his 40. Always connecting the strings in the pitch. Such an underrated player. His visions and assists were such class.

@@LynkJDL1 this world
Why would you want Ronaldo running back and defending when he’s been scoring 50+ goals a season for the past decade😂
Football has evolved a lot since Giggs was in his prime, back then it was all 442 so the left midfielder had to track back. Nowadays it’s usually 433, so had Giggs been around these days he’d of likely been a left forward, and probably wouldn’t have had to do as much tracking back.

Roy Keane was what you want in a captain, tough, wore his heart on his sleeve, battle for everything, never give in and always made sure everyone on his team gave 100% or they would answer to him. I think most of the players Roy had around him were to scared of how he would react if they didn't try their best! But then he always had your back and made sure if anyone messed with any of his teammates he got straight in the middle to defend his guys. I remember this game and how Vieira tried intimidating Gary Neville in the tunnel by acting tough until Keane stepped in and then he ran and then went missing during the game coz he didn't want to go anywhere near keane.
yet viera scored in that game.
