We got some similar childhood heroes ! Vieira, Henry, Bergkamp. But I would add of course the double Z, Zinedine Zidane ! Barthez, Thuram, Desailly to give a few. As you can probably guess, I am french, and I feel so lucky to have been able to grow up with such a national football team.
Bergkamp was one of the many foreign players I loved during my childhood. My favorite player of all time (beside Zidane) Klose, Ronaldo, Ronaldinho, Maldini, Pirlo, Cafu, Pauleta, Juninho... I have so much more

Well said - They don't make them like that anymore - Duncan Ferguson was my hero. He would barely get a game and would be suspended 6-month a year between the BS he's playing against and VAR and the refs who have forgotten what football is. But leadership-wise, Keane and Viera (in no particular order) were the best.

These times were the absolute best premier league times. Glad I was 14 yo at that time. Never forget. Becks, Keane Scholes. Arsenal with pires vieira ljunberg henry etc. Absolute beautiful. Henry with the gloves you knew it was business time.
Watching this talk between ex-footballers is the closest to a family roast where you want to invite everyone and even, people who aren't that close like Keane or Vieira. So, I'm glad to see three of them reunited to talk football stories.
