  • Michael Jordan and Tom Brady both have 6 rings, and both often receive praise for being the GOAT in their respective sports. MJ has more regular season MVPs, but Brady has more championship appearances than His Airness and could pass him in titles next week. Both have had their share of game winning-moments and come-from-behind victories. Hear who Skip Bayless and Shannon Sharpe think is more clutch.

Way easier to get to a NBA Finals than the Super Bowl. Teams only need 2-3 great players to reach the NBA finals, in football it takes greatness in all 3 phases of the game.

Maybe I’m biased because I’m a West Side Chicagoan . I’m 44 so I was privileged to watch MJ from the start . If it’s a one and done Game I’m taking MJ all day . Now as a competitor there both about equal. There’s No way I’d bet against Mike in a elimination Game .

As they said, Brady has a long career with an incredible amount of clutchness, but Jordan had a relatively short career with an equal amount of incredible clutchness. Jordan wins hands down for doing it a similar amount of times in a much shorter timeframe. Much greater percentage wise. Plus Tom Brady is rarely rated as the greatest footballer ever, whereas MJ is for almost everyone the greatest basketball player of all time.

tf? Tom Brady is mostly not rarely rated as the GREATEST FOOTBALL PLAYER EVER. i would bet MOST people would say Tom is the GOAT. And even if that was true, that logic is mad flawed. Thats a popularity contest. A lot of people don't like Brady cause he's successful, but more people love Jordan cause they hate LeBron.

I love MJ, I consider him the GOAT, he convinced my eyes and the eyes of the vast majority that he's the best player who has ever played basketball. However, like Pat Riley said, one shot for my life and I'm taking Larry Bird. That guy was a such a cold-blooded clutch player, he'd tell you in that moment exactly what he was gonna do, and then do it and still hit the shot. That's next-level confidence.

Brady had better teams than MJ did most of his career. He immediately got put into a team that had been to the Super Bowl recently and was pretty much set up to stop anyone defensively. Then they signed guys like Corey Dillon, Rodney Harrison, etc. to strengthen the team even more.
Really aside from his final season with the team, he's had some legit squads. MJ unfortunately spent the first half of his career on a trash team.
All I know is that when Brady got bigtime weapons, he failed to get titles. He typically won his championships when the talent was on the defensive side of the ball.
