I find it interesting that people even complained about noise from this siren when it isn't even running at full potential due to the blower being reverse wired.
this siren (the Thunderbolt 1003) is actually not meant to be loud in and of herself, only if she had a form of air movement (e.g. a vacuum cleaner or blower) will she get loud enough to be more of a "siren" Only too bad is that the air movement produces that coarse sound of the siren you, Sailor Jupiter, and lots others love.
Sounds good, but the bearings are a bit dry, and sounds like there is an air leak in the piping, possibly right at the blower. Hopefully it is repairable, though.

Paulie l They changed it up a while back. The bolts are used for the noon blast Mon-Fri, and the sterlings only go off on Saturdays at noon now.
