This is my late husband and my song. He was murdered when he was 47 years of age, and no matter that I could barely move for years other than work and raising our kids, I would have never changed a thing. We had the Brady bunch plus we adopted our granddaughter from my former step daughter. I cry every time I hear this song. He was the love of my life!💖💔20 years later, I’m re married and have 3 grandchildren. We lost one of my stepsons to diabetes, but I will never ever regret the dance!

5:19 when I was in junior high school, a really good friend of mine knew that she was dying. Her one request was for her family to play this song. They wouldn't do it. I went to her funeral, and after her family left, and as they were lowering her into the ground, I played it for her
This was the song my Dad and I did our Father-Daughter dance to at my wedding. My brother sang it and did an excellent job. But it reminds me of my Daddy and he passed away last year. And it makes me cry every time I hear it.

The Dance by Garth.. was one of the first songs I taught myself how to play and preform.. and it was my moms fav song I did by Garth. Well.. she just passed away last month. Anyways.. I told myself I will NEVER be able to hear this song again/Play this song again.. but since your one of my top fav reactors.. I couldn't help but to watch.. just wanna say.. glad I did! I know a lot of people make fun of country music. But country music is genuinely from the heart. It’s stuff we can all relate to. Garth Brooks is great, but check out George Strait If I know me, I Cross My Heart or any of his songs. My friend their is a reason he is called the king of country music.

Sorry to tell you this, but.. this is "not" Garth Brooks. This is only a cover of one of his songs. Garth is very protective of his music on social media. To truly discover Garth's music, you have to react to "live" clips. Then you'll know it's him. That being said, Garth is one of the biggest selling artists in all of music, not just country. He sold over 170 million albums worldwide and is the #1 solo country artist of all time. Virtually any song you choose will be a banger. Definitely do his live videos, tho.

As great as this sounds, Garth is even better live! He has so much darned charisma!

As stated by other commenters, this is definitely not Garth. His music is indeed heavily regulated. To get the authentic experience, you'll need to check out his live specials from the 1990's, I believe they were NBC specials, but if not, definitely one of the three major networks (ABC, CBS). There you'll be able to react to most of his catalogue one song at a time, or immerse yourself in an hour and a half of great music. That being said, great reaction to an epic song. This was a huge hit for Garth early in his career.

Saw him live on his world tour a few years ago, and it’s crazy he’ll just take requests from the audience and perform the songs on the spot. Definitely check out some live clips to actually hear him.
