Ford F-150 and Raptor Steering Wheel Replacement (2009-2014)

Time for an interior upgrade on my 2011 Raptor, in this video the steering wheel gets replaced with a brand new OEM one from Ford. The new one is nice and fresh, and has some quality improvements over the old ones to boot. Definitely recommend swapping yours out if it’s getting worn out, having something nice and fresh that you use every time you drive your truck is awesome!

Just did this steering wheel swap and THANKS TO THIS VIDEO me and my son got it done in about 10 minutes. As the vid states - disconnect your battery first!!! Couple of tips: Get yourself a T-Handle 6" long 4mm hex key to pop the clips in the three holes. Made it very easy. And - pop the bottom hole first! The top two will then release easily. We initially tried the top two holes first and the bottom wouldn't release. You'll also need a T50 Torx Socket to remove the wheel. The rest of the install was super quick and simple.

Great video! Just ordered a new wheel for my 2012 and this'll be a great help. straight to the point and easy to follow. Previous owner of my truck completly destroyed the wheel in mine so this will definetly be a nice upgrade.

I have a more basic button set on the wheel on my 2013 f150. I would like to have volume control at least. I wonder if the wiring is back there on mine for an upgraded wheel...also, what did you do with your old steering wheel?

You may be able to upgrade, especially being a 2013...I'm not sure if that's plug and play with all systems, if there's coding involved, or if you need a certain level of SYNC system though.
