I have just fitted one to my 2015 Ducati Scrambler. These are notorious for having snatchy throttles. It made a very slight difference but its only really a sticking plaster fix. The real cure is a dyno remap for the fuelling, which is scheduled. The throttle is now much smoother than stock due to the Delrin bushes but it is a slightly sloppy fit on the bars. I fitted new Oxford Fatgrips as the stock grips are a bit thin and had to be cut off anyway. I slid the new grips on using water based lube. There should be no need to glue them on as when the lube dries they don't slip.
Can u supply the throttle housing n tube...i needed those
i have it on my yamaha and very pleased never the original
I am trying to install my cables and I don’t have enough slack, any thoughts? Thanks.
What model fit the SSR-300? It is has a very similar housing of the Honda but only ha one cable. Thank you in advance.
Best throttle tubes
So does it work with regular aftermarket hand grips? Can I slide them over it ?
yes broo good gass
I assume this G2 throttle tamer won't work with the Emig lock-on grips since the lock on grips have their own tube?..Right?
I'm wondering the same thing. I have a KLX110L and need to replace the throttle and grips... and want lock on and this tube.
@@TheCodesterr Sorry for my late reply. No, our G2 throttle tubes do not work with lock-on grips.
Great video, if I wanted to see how hands move during installation...🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Do you need to put any Greece or anything under the throttle tube
Connor no
Sorry Connor, if you still have the tube let us know. Email on the website. www.g2ergo.com
I installed it the same way and I'm 100% sure I did it right but the tube just gets stuck all over the place
It’s might be your throttle cables, they could have gunk in them.
@@MotorcycleRebuilds it was because I over tightened the throttle housing
@@mikeychavez4262 that’s good to know thanks for the update and so quick too!
Constructive criticism: your hands were in the way of alot of the removal and reassembly steps. We might as well be listening to this how-to on the radio...can't see.
nice camera placement...lol
They show you how to do this shit on video but hide how to put the dam cables back throttle tube to where you can see which cable goes into which holes so wtf is the point of showing a video on how to install a throttle
That’s not difficult to figure out. If someone doesn’t know that they probably should think about whether they’re capable of doing the installation.
Ronan Rogers id rather do it myself than pay out the ass for some one else to do it an if you don’t know how to do it that’s what they have a video on how to do it asshole but what is the point when the idiot has what he’s doing blocked from the camera I also tore my bike to nothing but the frame an built back to what it is now a fully rebuilt bike so I know I’m capable of doing it myself but thanks for your input that I didn’t ask for
2 cables. Figure it out snowflake.
@@Ty-no8lj fuck you bitch ass clown the whole point of a video is to walk someone through how to do it not half ass show it to figure it out if I have to do that then why do a video you pussy
@@ronanrogers4127 that’s no the point you dumbass
日本では買えないようです。
Too bad you guys don’t show how to glue the stupid grips on …. Not gonna lie I’m pretty pissed. I Spent 140 bucks on this throttle just to glue the shit out of it and ruin it. I hardly used any glue and it seeped under the bushings and glued them up
what the fuck is it good for , gust a gimmick
Go BIG or go home idiot
