I think this is best and cheapest mod what i done to my KTM EXC300 and got so amazing results. Get G2 Throttle Tamer from www.g2ergo.com if you need more control over your bike throttle.
With G2 Ergnomics Products you will get really nice instructions so installation was really easy. In slower technical terrain you will notice big difference when you compare to your stock OEM tube. At smaller throttle opening you get much more control which means you will get more grip on the ground also i notice it will less wear and tear my body because i have perfect bike control and not snappy ktm exc 300 throttle response like before.
So if you are a hobby rider and you think your KTM has to much power for you or having problems with snappy power delivery this product is for you. It will make your KTM 300 Smooth Power Delivery and much more fun to ride. Its not really expensive its only $69 and trust me its worth the money.
The Throttle Tamer incorporates a non-linear ratio between hand throttle rotation and carburetor or throttle body opening. The “pulley”, or as we call it, “cam” pulls the throttle cable as the rider rotates the grip/tube. By altering the conventional, circular shaped cam, a vast improvement in control is achieved. For most models the Throttle Tamer includes a 400 style cam profile, but some will have alternative cam profiles. The cam proven to be the best all-round solution for each model is used.
The Throttle Tamer has a cam with a reduced radius initially, which requires a slightly farther rotation to achieve the same carburetor or throttle body opening position as a stock throttle. This slightly longer pull makes a HUGE difference in control as the power is rolled on and the rider searches for traction. The radius increases or “ramps up” after ½ throttle to keep overall rotation requires to reach full throttle at or near stock rotation.

Nice video. Just got a 300 and my main complaint is the 'snappy' throttle. I'm looking forward to this mod. Personally, I toned the brakes down too, I thought they were too grabby off the showroom floor, which might be fine in motocross or fast trails but not so much when maneuvering down steep, loose trails. I like modulation in my brakes, dirt bike, mountain bikes, or road cycling. At least for me.
fredman1085 try the green spring as well. Jetting helps smooth the power. Suzuki needles (necj + nedj are the best with 40 + 168)
How did you 'tone down' your brakes?
@@bikersoncall By adding more play in the levers. That gives me more moderation so that the brakes aren’t instant on when I pull on the lever. It’s something I learned racing bicycles years ago and I put it to the dirt bike as well.

how delaying the 'attack' by loosening
a bicycle brake cable or dirt bike actuator
would help with the finesse of braking.
But of course if it works, that is what
matters.

You can get G2 Dirt Tamer for your bike from site in description its really easy to order. Also on my channel you can find map switch mod it will also help you if your bike has to much power (but its only working for wide open hits) and soon i will do video about power valve tuning for smoother and more easy to ride power from 300.
