Tyler Brierley most welcome
Great information as always. Thanks for sharing your knowledge.
Most welcome
As usual a good informative video. Thanks Mate
Thanks Di.
Thanks mate. Yes, they are good spots.
G/Day Brad, yep a very under rated area.
I like the other side around Dohles Rocks too Wayne, but as you alluded to, the Sou'Easters can make it difficult from the bank.
For someone who's an avid fisherman and relocating to Redcliffe in September from the Gold Coast all your videos are so very informative and honestly the most helpful I've seen they're getting me super excited for what I'm hoping to be a much better fishing experience thanks for all of the most helpful information on the Redcliffe to Shorncliffe area's hopefully I'll get the chance to meet you in person again thanks for your tips and most importantly your mud maps on spots 🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙
Most welcome and happy to help.
@@Wayne.Groomes.Fishing Too true. Wayne is a wealth of info. Soo easy to get an idea of great spots as well as danger areas.
Great info thanks 🙂
Glad you liked it BJ.
Wow, nice boat!
Thanks
Great Video...thanks.
Most welcome
another great video from you :)
Thanks
Another good vid Wayne
thanks
Watched again
thanks
Awesome Vid Wayne. But I cant stress enough, if folks are going to fish the mouth of Cabbage Tree, (the rocky bit at the mouth) please wear decent foot wear, I wont step in it without waders, the Stonefish are prolific in there, otherwise go hard guys and gals
Yep agree completely. Should have mentioned that in the vid.
Allgood mate, you do a fantastic job with your Vids, Page and Comps, cant expect you to remember every lil detail. Cheers Bud
Same as Simon, new up here and trying to find somewhere suitable for the kids to fish. Cheers Wayne.
Plenty of places to find fish. Bream and flathead are all year round but better quality in winter.
You Sir...... Legend!!!
Hope to see more of your location guides around Mosman, Hawkesbury etc
Thanks Nikhil.
If you're referring to Mosman in Sydney than Clifton gardens is your go to spot for the Hawkesbury River Juno point holds monster Jews patonga area have some of the biggest muddies in Australia Berowra waters marina down bays road in summer holds Alot of bream, flatties and Jew plus big muddies can be caught in the marina
Nice vid
Thanks
I did it took me ages but I caught a pretty small flathead but my Pb on lure and a decent size bream hurray
Tyler Brierley that’s great.
Cool
‘
Cool thanks I’m gonna hit it at 5am through to 12pm with a few new lures I got a
Jackal chubby 38mm
Daiwa double clutch 60mm in a light white sorta clear
A gomoku storm popper 38mm
And
Softplastics hopefully
Thanks for the reply hopefully I will see you around one time
Look forward to it
I went to Brighton Park and caught a baby barracuda
That’s awesome
Your video is improving wayne. I love how you explain details of the spots. Awesome video
Keep it going. Also hows your skin?
Thanks Anh.
All fished out now
We’ll disagree on that one.
Hey mate another great video have you been getting much lately the weather has been a bit average?
In between the rain and wind the bream have been about in numbers but not a lot over the 35 mark. Flatty will come on a bit as the water temp falls over the next month or so.
Great vid Wayne, I think u mentioned gar on shorncliffe pier. Just wondering when is the best time to target them n which tide, month and early morning? Wanna take my 8 yr old son to experience garfish. Thanks.
kevin nguyen all you need is a good burley mix that includes stale bread and size 10 hooks under a float. Have a chat to Mark at Tackle Land Sandgate to fine tune.
Hey Wayne,
Great video as I’ve just moved to this area
Do you get any squid on the Brighton side of the bridge?
Brian Garden shorncliffe is a top spot
how is the area nowadays? I've just moved nearby and went for my first fish today. Beautiful place but didn't have much luck
It’s like anywhere, can be good sometimes and terrible sometimes. Moon, wind, time of day, target species and bait will all improve chances when considered
Hey Wayne, do you ever fish in the Redlands? Ie. Birkdale coast > Wellington Point > Ormiston?
solarorbitz mostly for squid.
Can you make a video about decker park and the whiting and bream please or flathead I don’t mind I just want to know if it’s an alright spot or not
Tyler Brierley will do. But I can tell you it’s a nice little spot on the top 4 hours of the tide.
Hey mate looking to go out before first light on Friday morning since this new moons about, it will be low tide when i head out, would any of these spots be good to target, was looking at hitting shorncliffe pier, not chasing any species in particular just looking to wet a line cheers.
Sorry for the late reply. The full and no moons are definitely better
Hey Wayne another great video. Have you got any ideas for low tide areas I've tried hays inlet alot and nvr a hit.
Not sure what your using but Hays at low tide is better than a fair chance. The front between Scott’s point and Scarborough works. Sounds vague but it really does.
Land and Bay Fishing thanks wayne sorry I was abit vauge in my comment , I usually park on hays parade and walk down and cast anything from grubz to dawia double clutches. but was gonna give bait ago this time round.
the Diawa Double clutch is good for the flats while wading on the top half of the tide there but you should go with a deeper diver in the channel, like the Atomic double deeps.
Where have you been going to get out of the wind mate
Daniel Dawes it’s not about getting out of the wind it about finding a location that puts the wind at your back
Yes true mate
If it’s too windy on the pier I like to go to baxters
Bream bream bream every video bream. Anywhere theres saltwater ull get bream
Yep you are right. Becomes a challenge and more of a sport if you reduce your line weight down to 4lb or less and use lures.
