Facts.
I appreciate that they're going with the "blood makes you related, love makes you family" approach. It's always going to bother me that they made them unrelated, but this is better.
At least now we can once again consider the Scarlet Witch, Magneto's daughter maybe not by Blood but by adoption which I can get behind.

I have a feeling they are setting up them to get remarried seeing as she has connections to wakanda, also in the old marvel books they had an arrange marriage for Emma and Tony, that might be for them. Also in black panthers none cannon books in the future, he was king of the world and he and storm brought in powerful mutant children

You forgot an important piece of Magneto and Wanda reconnecting in this issue. It puts the Mutants on good terms with the Kree-Skrull Alliance. After all, Wanda is Teddy/Hulkling's mother-in-law. lol.
Yep and we see in S.W.O.R.D. #6 that Teddy will use that discord as leverage.
Rather this puts the Mutants on bad terms with Magneto… betting my last dollar this is what the Trial of Magneto is going to be about
23:12 yeah the thing was Marvel retcon Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver’s parentage is two things at one point in time was Fox owns the X-Men rights and a writer wants to take full critic. You know sometimes one’s own ego can be the enemy to success and mostly their own undoing.

Amelia Vought isn’t the one who was killing the Snarks it was Khora, the new member of S.W.O.R.D. Amelia was just teleporting the real assassin around the universe.
Interesting that detail is something Rob completely gets wrong. Khora is literally revealed in a few panels to be the assassin and Rob usually doesn't get blatant details wrong.
@@cjtrules1 that's why I don't even think he actually reads the books anymore. He just rambles on and on with old facts that have nothing to do with the book
@@jeremiahmorris1852 I don't think he's following Hickman's X-Men because there are a lot of books to keep up on. Since they are a big part of Marvel he might feel obligated to do an occasional video. Also he's excited for mutants to show up in the MCU.
@@cjtrules1 I don't read all the X Books either. I used to read a lot od them. Now I'm just down to S.W.O.R.D. and X-Men. Marauders was my favorite book, but I lost interest after they decided not to kill off Sebastian Shaw. There's no hostility or anything
@@jeremiahmorris1852 Sebastian Shaw isn't dead. He's still an active member of the Marauders and the Quiet Council. Kate, Emma, and Storm poisoned him, best him up and then left him needing a wheelchair.
Killing him would have been going easy on him as he could just be resurrected in healthy state.
I think Magneto is talking about more than Anya. His entire family was killed in a concentration camp.
It'll be cool to see Wanda back with the Xmen, but I'm hoping she still has a presence with all the magic books. Loved her roles in the Doctor Strange books over the years. Her solo series was great also.
Since I love Scarlet Witch, I have this feeling that by the end of The Trial of Magneto series, they will end up being able to resurrect Scarlet Witch, thus giving her the title of mutant again. I know some characters never stay dead but this would be a cheap move to permanently kill her off and I know there’s more underlining to her “death.”
Doom, Wanda, and Magneto has me feeling good, also love the conversation between Doom/Cap and Mag/Wanda
It might just be me. But has anyone else noticed that the members of the "Quiet Council" of Krakoa are getting more and more sketchy. I mean who do you guys see? Emma Frost, Magneto, Xavier, Exodus, Mr Sinister, Mystique. Just those few and I'm like " What are you all up to??" And we know something sketchy is happening in the shadows from the Destiny quotes Mystique spoke about.
Magneto is such a good character when not wasted.
Could that be said about any character??

@@narcisosalas1180 this i would love for them to start somewhat fresh but still after all the current xmen movies. So X23 as Wolverine, after the Dark Phoenix (resurrection is a fine event to adapt) Though i don't like it X-men blue, Gold, red, straight into house and powers. If it has to connect to the MCU. If it is its own standout thing with little interaction with the rest except big infinity war events then start with House and Powers, which is technically still a fresh start.

@@augury2699 but you gotta consider the major players in those events right?…mainly Xavier,magneto and apocalypse…the key is to get actors who have that “presence” in voice as well as physically…I would love to see it,but I don’t know if the mcu could actually pull it off
@@narcisosalas1180 thats why i suggested moving forward away from some of those. Apocalypse can be manageable. Prof X and Magneto that would be harder to come by. More so in Magneto's case. Plus there's also the fact that mcu has killed off or retired some key characters to certain crossover events
Fabians power is to augment mutants powers not heal mutants. Which is why he did so much damage to Magneto back in the day, he wasn’t healing him he was just augmenting his powers.
Plus giving those power boosts a addictive aspect so that it’d cement a need/place for him since whoever he’s amplifying can basically become a power junky

Let’s be fair the whole Wanda/Pietro mutant recon was done because Fox still had the rights to X-Men and mutants but the MCU had Wanda & Pietro and to make things less confusing to new fans (plus at the time Marvel was trying to kill interest in their own X-Men titles) the change was made.
Now Disney have the rights and by transference Marvel does too as they don’t want to admit they made a mistake and change it back they are now just going to subtly have Wanda & Pietro slowly start coming back to Magneto as family. And then like a reverse version of how Slotts changed things for Franklin in a couple of years once mutants are in the MCU their heritage will be retconned again to being mutants….it’s so dull the way people think ‘big’ changes like this will help characters story’s because at the end of the day things always return to the way they were before in comics

You do know the reason why the FF “went away” for years in Marvel and the whole thing with Marvel trying to replace the X-Men with the Inhumans (both in comics and the whole trying to give the Inhumans their own TV series) was because Fox had the movie /tv rights to those franchises and would not sell them back to Disney/Marvel. So in order to drive down interest in those characters (though Fox’s movies also helped as they were so bad) and make it easier to get Fox to sell those rights back Marvel chose to remove/lower interest in them in comics. This isn’t even my idea this is a pretty well known fact. Also you have noticed that the movies and as such studios have a massive effect on what stories comics are doing, Marvel does it themselves (Blade is joining the MCU so suddenly he’s an Avenger in the comics, She-Hulk is getting her own series and so becomes an Avenger etc). So yeah Fox had a a huge effect on the comics and now that the rights have gone back to Disney/Marvel the FF came back in the Marvel landscape and the X-Men get a huge boost in story arcs with the Hickman treatment (remember they went from literally dying off from Terrigan death clouds a couple years ago to now having their own nation and planet).
If you don’t see that your pretty much blinded, the only character who got away from it all is Spider-Man because while the media rights are with Sony Spider-Man is the face of Marvel so they couldn’t lower interest in him or shuffle him off somewhere because he’s too big! If he had been a lesser character though they would’ve done it to him too.

I really wish they would give her respect among the mutant population but I’ve come to terms with all the Wanda hate from them.
This is a good step as long as Magneto believes and advocates it as Thanos did for Gamora in the MCU Infinity Saga.

The trial of Magneto ( I think dr doom has connection to the trial of Magneto)
Also revealed her connection to the House of ideas. Every ones story is a book to house of ideas. Maybe she can control that power already she feels HOI power. I think Marvel will handle it in future. But it is too powerful.( If she can tap to that power she can rewrite story of everyone except living tribunal. Assumption only but already revealed wanda's connection and she feels that power. I think Marvel definitely reveal it in future )
Fabien should consider this question before he seeks to exterminate humans: how many current mutants are second generation mutants? AFAIK it's just Pietro, Wanda and Laura (even though she's a clone). There might be some I'm unaware of, but my point is that- for now- most mutants still are born of humans. Eliminate that (too soon) and will the current mutant population really flourish?
What are you talking about? You think mutants are sterile like inhumans or what? Mutants can and very much ARE reproducing themselves in Krakoa, and you bet the resurrection protocols add to that naturally growing number. I'm not even including Arakko in this, but we already have millions of mutants living on Earth. Orchis has to cause another mass extinction event to turn mutantkind into an endangered species again

you know, I think that blip with Doom and Captain America is kinda interesting. Doom respects Captain America's opinion, because at the end of the day Doom recognizes that, while they share vastly different ideals, Steve Rogers is a good man who will generally give it to you straight. No politics, no bullshit, he wears his opinions on his sleeve. There are individuals that Doom begrudgingly respects, while still talking down to them.... but Doom was legitimate in "We're both the faces of our nation" when Rogers said 'you might call it weakness'

I think magneto more so meant, the fact that he and his family suffered through the holocaust. The amount of suffering humanity threw at him. Also, I think Amelia was just the transport, Khora was the assassin.

When Wanda severed the bloodline (during the AXIS storyline) between the twins and magneto.....she used chaos magic to do it. Meaning: she used her power to alter reality giving the twins an altered background story/origin. This could be undone and switched back. QS/SW will always be magneto kids.

When they introduce the X-Men into the MCU, Magneto could take a surrogate father role to Wanda, perhaps steering her morality towards good or bad. If the events of Multiverse of Madness goes wrong for Wanda, setting her up as a villain against humanity, Magneto could reinforce her beliefs and could even manipulate her into joining his Brotherhood of Evil.

YES. Storm the mutant queen period now and always love how she can just flow up Doom's boss entrance and shut him up with her own I honestly believe Doom out of any mutant in Krakoa she is one who Victor might respect to do such a thing and not provoke.

Not extremely difficult to predict a decline when there is such a drastic positive change. Krakoa and mutants being together won't last forever and something will tear it all apart.
I'm surprised you didn't do Planet Sized X-Men. X-Men, that book and this S.W.O.R.D. issue were an epic three piece for the Gala.

Bit of a hot take but I like how they are going about their relationship… sort of a “is blood thicker than water” kind of deal. Family goes beyond blood and I feel this showcases magneto’s development. Had this been 90’s magneto he wouldn’t have been as forgiving. I like this but I do feel marvel needs to stick the landing for this…A good payoff if you will.

Nothing. We have seen a few Wakandan mutants. And they don't seem to face any persecution.

If you think back to powers / house of x's conclusions, since we know that it's an intergalactic race that ends up really taking over, moving on this time line speeding up an inter galactic presence before humans is a great move by the quiet council ... Interesting!
