This is interesting, I really like it, but I hate that the X-Men are always demonized.

That is the point, that’s why everyone falls in love with the X-Men
They are the outcast that we all feel identified
For most of their run the X-Men didn't deserve the demonization they got. But after the Krakoa run, they've been anything BUT heroes. And especially after X-Men green, I can't feel any sympathy towards them.
Chris Claremont was right, this current run of X-Men is utter garbage and deserves to be memory holed in a few years.
Mutants are always gonna be the "other..." Even when they literally moved to their own mini continent and to another planet, ppl feel the need to keep fucking with them...
@King of EBLA - The X-Men were being shat on way before Disney got into the mix. This is Marvel Comics doing, not Disney, just saying....

Every Marvel human potentially has the Celestial gene for super-powers and mutation....Banner absorbed gamma rays...Those genes are how Spiderman gained powers instead of severe radiation illness. Rogers. She- Hulk, The Fantastic 4, Spiderwoman, Bucky, etc....The issue are their resurrections now, but mutant Sinister has that tech...It is here to stay.....unless these are not the real 616 X-Men and mutants...The Eternals should be after most of The Avengers and F4 too.
Would really love to see this end in an Apocalypse vs Thanos fight

Apocalypse is one of the most powerful mutants in existence even before considering his **Celestial** augmentation. I have to imagine he'll factor in somehow in the inevitable battle against Uranos.
I'm wanting that, too. Apocalypse needs to return with wifey and children, link up with the X-Men and wipe Druig and his cohorts out. Humble them.

Rob, you're gonna have to read Xmen Red #5. Storm wasn't on Arakko when Uranos showed up, and he didn't kill all the mutants. One in particular was thought to be killed though, lol

I don’t have much free time to myself as a dad of 5 so really appreciate these videos as I’ve found myself more interested in hearing the backstory of all these different comics. Helps me as a new found comic lover and someone who’s previously relied only on the movies 👊

Arako has 1 million mutants, Uranos killed 1000 and only 1 of the great ring but I doubt it Isca killed the humanoid but I personally think lydll is the Snake

Desperate times call for desperate measures. The Eternals claimed their “godly decree” against the mutants, to “cleanse” them from society. Tony’s invention will only bite everyone in the ass if the plan is sabotaged in some form or fashion.

Deviants being the ancestors of mutants and the potential alliance between the mutants and deviants might be some good character growth. But the new celestial is the downfall of the eternals.

The deviant - mutant thing I don't like currently, it takes away from the mutants saying "we are different but not monsters" and gives normies a excuse to say "oh but deviants are monsters so you must be one".
Unless they put the mutants on a better stance through ideological values, I really prefer if the genome change wasn't ever made

Rob one more time about captain America you seem to be forgetting, it isn't just speed and super strength of an Olympic athlete. The super soldier serum didn't just turn him into a elite athlete. People wouldn't have been trying for decades to replicate it if that's all it was. The serum also enhanced his brain to computer like levels hence him being a master at strategies.i know you have a bias towards him but dude has battled toe to toe with powerful beings

100% agree that mutants being an offshoot of the Deviants is how the X-Men and mutants in general are introduced into the MCU

I can understand the Uranos could beat many of the mutants. I get that. But how is it that he can defeat a reality warper as powerful as David? So easy? And Stormi didn't die because she wasn't on Arrako. Magneto didn't die either. He's keeping himself alive by sheer will.
That page of Magneto at the end of X-Men Red is awesome.

It never shows Uranos and David fighting. I suspect something happened. I don't think they battled each other.
David's powers I think rely on how he is in the moment. so if he didn't have his game on he would be defeatable

I hope this returns mutants back to to being the good guys. I hate that the mutants are no longer the underdogs and now the oppressors.
You notice there is a theme of tearing down popular heroes to be bad guys or jerks. Iron Man, Black Panther, Cyclops, Professor X, Reed

@@blackmoonco He was but Uranos looks to be a full copycat to Darkseid. You can tell that Uranos looks way bigger than Thanos, he's way more powerful than Thanos and he's more evil than Thanos as well.

@@blackmoonco He's more evil than Thanos because him and Thanos were talking about the time Thanos used the Infinity Gauntlet to erase half the life in the universe, and Uranos mocks Thanos and questions him why didn't he destroy all life in the universe. That kind of thing. Basically saying that if Uranos had the Infinity Gauntlet, he would have destroyed all life in the universe.

@Comics Explained So what about the Waiting Room? Wanda made it possible to use the Waiting Room to restore all mutants across all of space-time without a need to have the be backed up first. Can't the Mutants just use it to bring back whoever they need to?

So, I know that, in the 616, mutants were just humans with a mutated gene, but I always thought, as head canon, that their mutated gene was from deviants mating with humans.

The mutants have not given humans any specifics on how they are able to live forever. They just know that the mutants cannot die.

Apocalypse is not even close to being the first mutant, both mutants and Deviant share an X gene, color blue is a common thing they share thats a good point.
Uranos is blue but he has no X gene, he is blue because of celestial technology

It’s quite odd that the X-Men are demonized so frequently, but the Eternals not so much. I thought the X-Men were descendants from the Eternals and the Deviants. Correct if I’m wrong, though.
This is a War, I'm setting in stone right here, I'm predicting that we'll see apocalypse return probably see him face off against Uranos, Giant Sized Team will Have a moment here and Jean Grey or Rachel Summers getting that Phoenix back from Echo, and If any of this happens it will be Phenomenal.

@@allistertenpenny6871 the Eternal machine listed something like 1,500 dead in total, so 1,500 random mutants and maybe ldyll the far seerer but I doubt that because Isca killed the humanoid person not the snake around the neck, it would be very Arakki to look like a Snake rather then a Humanoid.
He maybe killed Legion, though since he has not be resurrected I call that into question as well

Kronos is the grandfather of Thanos (and father of A'Lars aka Mentor) , while Uranos is the granduncle. Uranos grandchildren r Ikaris and Druig (who r each other's cousin).
