I suddenly discovered my lips dark. I was really scared at that time and searched for solution in these types of videos. But fortunately found out it was due to some infection. As time passed it got healed by itself and my lips are back to how they were before. I didn't use any products on them.

Hi. I have dark spots on the corner of lips. It looks like after effects of angular chelities, I had red inflammation around mouth and corner of lips and aftermath was dark ness around corner of moth. Any suggestions for this please ?
Try the avene cicalfate lip restorative cream. My dermatologist had to prescribe something for it to go away, but if that’s not an option for you then the lip balm might help. I used it to keep the chelities away and, it’s working so far.

Please help. I was using a skin lightening cream for almost 2 months to help with my dark spots and hyperpigmentation but 72 hours ago I noticed that I started developing hypo pigmentation and white patchy spots around my forehead and the corners of my mouth. Please help me What do you think I should do to get my skin back to normal. I did stop the cream and I am currently using hydrocortisone and a gentle cleanser for now. Is this a good treatment to help my skin. I also noticed the cream cause my lip yo get dark too.
Also do you think kojic acid It's good to use long term.

I never had dark lips as a child and early teenager. It was after puberty hormones really kicked in, breasts developed, I noticed lips, ESPECIALLY upper lips growing way darker than lower.
I'd get trolled sometimes by best friends like, how this is very similar to SMOKER lips, the upper lips alone way darker than lower. Whether I secretly puff one out every now and then.
They know full well the only addictions I had were carbs and coffee -__-
My cause is from excessive lip licking how do i lighten to their natural color?
Currently I am suffering from contact dermatitis but not able to find a cause even after getting a consultation from dermatologist. My lips got partially darkened due to the application of a salicylic acid cleanser. I've had no irritation, just the dark appearance it is. What can I do to get back the normal lip colour?
as far as I understand, salicylic acid is oil soluble and your lips has no oils glands so it;s very unlikely that SA was the cause.

No I try. You can scrub to have soft lip but it’s not gonna make your lip come back pink

Do not use bleaching cream on lips. Lips are super sensitive and have a very thin layer

Maybe the lipsticks you're using is already expired, always check the expiration date

Since you’ve had a bad reaction before I would be extra careful. Here I recommend talking to a dermatologist who can see your skin and recommend personal tips and treatments

Go see a doctor… Sometimes you’re lacking of certain things in your body as a whole (not just the skin/ lips)! I found it interesting when I saw your comment and went to search for it… But apparently there are too many reasons for you to simply believe in the internet!
Hey love it could be that you are deficient in something for example an anemic person would get lips like that so please get tested to find out why you have pale lips.

I noticed this also the first month or so that I first started using retinoid. Also, do you reapply a tinted sunscreen ( at least SPF 50) during the day especially when you’re outside? Wearing a sun protective hat while
outside? Maybe your sun protection is not enough? By the way if you can tolerate niacinamide then using a moisturizer with niacinamide with the retinoid may help reduce the pigmentation
NO IT DOESN'T.
I have using 0.05 tretinoin for around 9 months now. Lips have become much smoother. I also use it on the undereyes. So being so scared. It's not gonna a kill you.

If it has some sort of irritating effect to your skin, it can darken. you might want to find something that does the same job but is less irritating or more calming. You could also try a mineral sunscreen with a higher SPF..(not sure if you are in the US) but most chemical sunscreens in the US don't offer hyperpigmentation protection. Sometimes it may not be the tretinoin itself. It could be the way the product is formulated..but you could test it out to see if that could be the case

I have dark lips and I don’t even smoke. I also have hyperpigmentation on my lips like it’s a little pink with dark tiny spots like a Dalmatian. I hate it and I use Vaseline (Petroleum Jelly) every night and no change. What should I do?

@@onyinyeenekweizu there is another video I saw where you put Apple cider vinegar (the mother) on your lips, leave it on for 12 mins then wash off your lips then use a sugar scrub and Vaseline after. I do that 3 times a week and it works.

Hi doctor. I have been using tretinoin 0.25% for the past 3 to 4 days .once I apply it my face becomes super oily and pimples pops out . should I stop using it
You need to sandwich your skin when applying trentinoin.
Apply an Hydrating serum before applying trentinoin and moisturise after.
Trentinoin purges your skin which is most likely why you're breaking out. you should make sure your skin is hydrated and moisturised while using it.
don’t stop using it the first few days ur skin will purge but it will get better over time like 1-2 months
