I bought the 1M Shinwa ruler for the sole purpose of marking out frets on guitars , I needed the length and the half mm increments .
It wasn't cheap after shipping but I love it , its also very flexible narrower than yours which is handy.

I've just bought some more Shinwa rules, they are a joy to use, I've subscribed to your channel too! Cheers.

I had just, by coincidence, ordered the 600mm Shinwa rule as I too have tired, old eyes. Thanks for the review. I think I might have made the right decision.

I have two small shinwa tools. A 150mm precision ruler, which is awesome... use it on every project. And the small 150mm square which is very handy for marking joinery. I really like their stuff! But I agree: usually their are two paying levels: One which is rather cheap, but usually is very functional and the more expensive one, which is on the other hand also rather reasonable.
hope you enjoy your new tools anyhow ;)

Hi Powers Workshop, thanks, they are already proving invaluable, time saving too as I know longer need to reach for stronger glasses. 👍👌

Hi Thomas, thank you. 😊 If you mean the Table Saw? Its really old, branded as a Deft, but the company I bought it from went bust the year after. Apparently I was one of the lucky few that actually got the saw I ordered, quite a stink if memory serves. There could be a replacement looming, keep watching for more updates. 😊😊👍

Parov Stelar? Watching your channel could start to get expensive :) - I would be interested on your view of the iGaging snap check height gauge too.

@@GTWoodshop Sorry, Parov Stelar for the the intro/outtro tune? I guess you not just replying yes to that bit means no ;) ( examples: czcams.com/video/sSqv87Ck3ZU/video.html )

No, not Parov Stelar but I just had a quick listen and I like it, thanks for the link. The music in the intro is from this chap: musicvine.com/track/dan-phillipson/this-is-your-time I liked it so much I actually bought the license to play it on CZcams. Music licensing is an absolute minefield. Have a listen, its Grrrreat! 👌
