This is such great information and clearly a lot of work to do. Thank you so much. I just bought a home (Kentucky) and my father and brothers (the youngest girl - the oldest has four sons and doesn't care lol) are already talking crap about my lawn. GEEZ I just moved in August. They do an excellent job on their lawns (centipede) always have. It is a beautiful green, but with your help, I will wear the crown in the spring with my dark green fescue lawn. They don't have the Lawn Doc. I will tell them about your channel after I bask in my victory a little and bring them along in late July. Haha. Again, thanks for this labor of love. Super helpful and informative!

Omg THANK YOU for the fescue calendar!! I’m in cool season turf in mass and the PGF complete works amazing last year for me!! Def do I;g some preemergent soon on the front lawn, seeding the back this spring as my rehab project. Super juice and Humic hard will be needed for my back yard rehab project.

I live in central North Carolina, not mountains, not coast.
Even with your help, I have neither the acumen nor acuity to repair my trashed landscape. On 2/3 acre, I have one 1' X 30' strip left of grass that has not succumbed to being overcome by weeds or death. Easily 60% of the lawn is overrun with wild garlic and onions.
I have done pre-emergent, I have done aeration, I have over seeded, I have put down lime. Unfortunately, I've not any of these things with consistency.
Now it's April so I have to wait another year before I can try again.
Thanks for being there, but I don't believe I have what it takes to fix it.

I got the pre-emergent out a few weeks ago, sprayed for weeds last week, put PGF Complete & Duocide out yesterday, and am hoping to get the first application of super juice out today. So far, my lawn has recovered nicely this spring from our lack of rainfall last year and a very short fall.

A pre emergent herbicide for stuff that will come in the summer and post emergent herbicide for the stuff that's already there. I use Prodiamine for pre emergent and Speedzone for post emergent weed kill. I have a TTTF and Bluegrass mixture. If you don't like to spray pre-emergency you can use the Sunniland 0-0-7 from Lowes and it's not expensive. You can't plant any grass if you apply any pre-emergent herbicide and you need to be careful about putting this down to close to the fall because it will prevent you from seeding then, too. Read the instructions before applying.
