There is a reason why Freddie Mercury is regarded, by many music experts, as the greatest vocalist in the history of recorded music.
Never knew until i watched the recent movie that it was the peculiar shape of his mouth because of a birth defect that gave him the unique ability to sing like he did.
He seriously is the greatest vocalist ever
And the came Dimash.

My left ear loved this video.
Freddie Mercury was the best at what he did. There will never be another like him.
Bohemian = socially unconventional
Rhapsody = epic poem, ecstatic expression of feeling
@Hey Jude it's also like the Cliff's notes version of an Opera
Among European bohemians were existentialists. They believe that nothing really matters.
A rhapsody in music has a slightly different definition. It is a one-movement work that is episodic yet integrated, free-flowing in structure, featuring a range of highly contrasting moods, color, tempo, rhythm, and tonality. So it is usually considered the musical version of an epic poem.
Example: "Rhapsody in E♭ Major" by Johannes Brahms, "Hungarian Rhapsody" by Franz Liszt, and "Rhapsody in Blue" by George Gershwin.
Bohemians are also a Czech ethnic group. :)
The beginning harmonies were sung just by Freddie Mercury. He had an amazing vocal range. No other artist or group can reproduce this song or do it justice. Queen rule!!
not even michael jackson and i also am a huge fan of him
I had the honor of seeing them live in 1978. They sounded exactly like the recording, AMAZING!
I saw them in 75,they were supporting mot the hoopoe,a few months later they really took off, they were just so different to everything else
I saw them in 78 also. True entertainers.
My Nan saw them and she was probably the luckiest person in my family
Lucky you when I was born he was allready dead 🙁 tho my parents got to see him
Which concert did you see?
The guitarist is a real deal genius astrophysicist
Yes, Brian May is a genius. He holds that PhD, aslo the CBE and FRAS from Britain.
@@7Lokimom forgot to mention he built this Guitar also there was no sound effects He wound his own pickups something not mention in the last 20 years that use to be a big deal in the early 80's of course alot of things are forgotten
For real these musicians we no lazy people. They were hard working genius
@@ronpage8560 forgot to mention he used a british sixpence coin as a pick, what made his guitar sound so unique
He was also the Vice Chancellor of a university.
Queen is the only Band inducted into the Songwriter’s Hall of Fame becz all 4 members wrote one or more No.1 hits
@@allensaunders449 try to follow along with what was said... it's the SONGWRITER's Hall of Fame, not the Rock n' Roll Hall of Fame. Bands aren't in the Songwriters Hall of Fame because every member had to have written songs
@@antrolly ah i didn't pay close enough attention. I didn't even know there was a song writters hall of fame all members have to write and they get in even know not all the writing is equal in quality
@@allensaunders449 oh God Allen, the glass is half full... keep telling yourself that over and over
@@antrolly relax I'm only kidding didn't like the way you answered first time just made a comment i knew you wouldn't like chill
@Allen Saunders - if that's true, you have no clue how to 'kid'. It needs to have an element of humour... which it doesn't
Does anyone believe these two are hearing this the first time?? Yeah, singing along is a good sign! Moving on.
I am very happy to see your reaction to Queen, please react to 1981's Queen : Somebody to Love, Live in Montreal. Tks darling
Yes I would love to see that happen
I second that! It's a great performance and Freddie's stage presence is on full display.
That and the 1985 Live Aid!
You 2 are a lot of fun to watch. I enjoyed this reaction!
You guys are so fun!!! You put a huge smile on my face - thank you! ❤️
The opening harmonies are actually Freddy Mercury singing all of the parts and overlaying the tracks to make it appear there are 4 singers. It was all Freddy. Just genius.
The Carpenters did the same thing to achieve their beautiful harmonies.
I honestly don’t believe you never heard it before..
Exactly bc they were singing the lyrics at certain points. Honestly everyone has heard this song if you listen to music
He Said he had never heard Queens's version of it
Did you not hear him say in the beginning he heard various covers but not the original? Everybody didn't grow up listening to Queen myself included and I'm probably at least 5 yrs. older than him.
@@icarobarbosa4354 How many other cover versions of this song are known or have been successful. Virtually none. If you have heard this song it's 99% would be the original.
Well they were just singing the parts of the song that are constantly repeated, so you would kinda pick it up on your own without having to listen to it before hand
The first part where there are four of them singing, Freddie Mercury made it into 5 part harmony and sang all parts. That's a dude committed to perfection.
PS- Queen’s live performances are usually better than the studio recordings IMO
Hey Jude na na nananna na
YES QUEEN, My Favorite Rock Band Freddie Mercury Was The Shit RIP and Brian May on That Guitar🔥 Y'all Need To React To Them More, Loved The Reaction❤️
You guys are just great together - Your simply the best!
Y’all just made my day. This made me smile so big, I love your reactions. Thanks for sharing this. You’ve got a fan! 😁
I've heard this song a hundred times and still react like you guys. What a work of art!
You two are freaking adorable!!!
I'm so, SOOO thankful that you've kept on keeping on and that's why I love your channel and this, in my opinion, is one of the GREATEST songs ever written & performed EVER!! Queen was the best!!
I watched this last night when it was first posted! It was such an awesome reaction!! Please react to More Queen Music! They are my all time favorite band!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
The energy of this reaction makes me smile
love seeing people get into Queen. i love your energy!!
Loved watching you watch Queen. Gave me a good laugh to see this song through new eyes and ears. What a trip, so funny. Thanks.
I was 17 yrs old when this song was released back in the day. One of, if not the most amazing rock song ever!
Probably the greatest music group of all time !!
I have watched a bunch of reaction videos to Bohemian R ... a bunch. Y'all are the most fun to watch, no doubt. Thanks for an 8 minute break from the mundane.
I loved seeing you guys enjoying this performance
Welcome to the world of melody, rhythm and NO autotune.....
The beginning harmonies were all Freddie, singing all the parts.
Anita Paulus. Wow!
Queen was decades ahead of any band. No band has the musical genius of Queen and never will. their music has meaning
Shirley Mullen I agree. I’m 65=years old, and I’ve never heard another male voice that effects me like Freddie’s, and the genius of all the members of Queen wont ever be equaled, in my opinion.
The amazing magic of multi-track
Anita Paulus that is not true. Freddie Mercury, Roger Taylor and Brian May sang the operatic parts which were overdubbed almost 200 times.
Now that you've heard the REAL THING - who did the best cover? And what took you so long?????
Queen...bc my parents didn't listen to that kinda music. I thank youtube or id never be here
Wonderful reaction! You both as beautiful as the song! ❤️
can yall react to queens live aid performence
1974 at the rainbow much better songs less hype
@@allensaunders449 less hype?? Lmao Queen weren't even on the original posters for live aid, and Freddie was told by his doctors not to perform as he had a severe throat infection. Yet they owned live aid.. I've seen them numerous times, including early on performances at the Marquee in London, Live aid, Berlin, Rio, and the guys never gave a better performance than Live aid.. Its still regarded as the definitive live performance by any band, by many millions worldwide..
Freddie mercury and queen are legendary. There has been no song rider That can hold a handle to Freddy mercury since this song was done in 1975. Sadly Freddy passed in 1991And there hasn't been a songwriter that comes near the Intelligence he had for writing music
Great reaction. Well, the floodgates have opened for you. Nothing beats the original masterpiece! maybe you also heard it in the movie Wayne's world. To refresh your memory the members are Freddie Mercury (dark hair, lead singer who died in 1991 due to aids complications), the drummer (long blond hair) is Roger Taylor, the guitarist (long dark curly hair, still that long today) is Brian May and the bass guitarist is John Deacon. Queen was huge in the 70's and 80's (therefore the long hair and the flashy/tight costumes were all the rage then) and for the past 40+ years Queen is still considered to be one of the most popular bands ever! Making this song music video at the time was actually a huge gamble for them cause it had never been done before and would either make or break them. The whole part in the song about the mother and "killing a man" a lot of people think its Freddie Mercury coming to terms with being bisexual and in the 70's that was way taboo. Through the song he could be telling his mom and all his loved ones that the old straight Freddie they used to know is "dead'. However, its left open to interpretation, thats just one of them. Queen wrote tons of other famous songs that you may have heard like "we will rock you and we are the champions" "killer queen", , "who wants to live forever", "love of my life", "another one bites the dust", "I want to break free", "seven seas of rye", "radio gaga", "somebody to love" (live Montreal 1981 is the best rendition), "under pressure", "these are the days of our lives", "crazy little thing called love", and hundreds more. These guys still stand up today because they sound just as good or even better live alongside their studio recordings cause of their pure talent and even now their works are a breath of fresh air. Queen's music is so diverse, timeless and put the "rage" in outrageous!! yeah, Rami Malek won basically every award: an Oscar, SAG, Bafta, and golden globe award. I saw the movie and totally love it and therefore give it my highest recommendation. it deserved every award nomination and win it got! while clearly some things are either glossed over, scrunched together, ignored or altered, I just go with the flow and love it anyway. it still does a phenomenal job telling how they got started, broke music barriers, totally went the distance and made music history! Queen guitarist Brian May and drummer Roger Taylor actually consulted/produced with making the film, mentored their younger doppelgängers and gave it their gold seal of approval. Keep in mind, from the get go, they didn't want to make a documentary, but a loving family portrait to truly capture Freddie's humanity and sensitivity as well as his creativity and stage presence. here's a behind the scenes interview with Roger and Brian. czcams.com/video/bVDHN52RnlM/video.html&frags=pl%2Cwn looking forward to seeing more Queen reactions. enjoy.
Wow, pretty comprehensive, hard to argue with any of that. Except, with regards to Brian - yes, his hair still that long but, sadly, it's not brown anymore it's entirely grey. Also, aren't we obligated to call him Dr May now?
@@glqm88 lol, yes, addressing him as Dr. May, you are absolutely right! slip of the tongue.
Diana North:- actually Brian May wrote, “who wants to live forever,” in the back seat of his car. Incidentally he sung the first verse and then Freddie came in on the second verse. All members of the band wrote hit songs.💕
I know you’ve heard the covers of Bohemian Rhapsody. When this song came out there was nothing that was remotely like the genius of this song. Rhapsody now commonly means a joyful expression of something. The original meaning was an instrumental that was an all in one piece that took you somewhere w it. Or an epic poem from the early Greeks. It’s means music poem. Yes, Rami Emanuel who win best actor playing Freddie has fascinating life story as well. He had to audition w Queen watching him sing as Freddie.
So glad to see you carry on! You are doing a great job!
The movie was awesome. A must see
I watched it the end almost made me cry but 10/10 I would recommend
Terry and Kaniyia, you're so fun to watch together! Love the energy, love the reaction, and love seeing Terry with such a huge smile on his face! Great video ❤️
You're both great together. Good dynamic. Theres a good chemistry and it makes it even better.
Love this ya'll. Freddie is the GOAT!
Freddy Mercury never fails to bring me to tears.
I don't care if you ain't seen this before or you're blaggin, your reaction is cool to us English who love Queen, thanks for enjoying one of our greatest bands :)
If you want to see something awesome by Queen, watch their 1985 Live Aid concert
omg I LOVE this, queen reactions are some of my favourites! please react to more of their music! a suggestion would be "under pressure (live at Wembley)
Look... their catalogue is deep, and covers so many styles, your minds will be blown away!
Try “White Queen”, Live at the Hammersmith Odeon 1975.
By the way, in THIS song, those super-high notes were the drummer, Roger Taylor.
LMAO @4:10 Those shoulders... I'm so glad you decided to carry on with your channel.
I love their singing. ❤ your reactions are great.
It's hard to beat that original!
This is my all time favourite song bohemain rhapsody... n i love queen
Never heard this? That's just really really sad.
Oh hell Yeah; I really wanted to watch this yesterday, I was anticipating it!
3:39 Kaniyia keeping it real. She knows what’s up. 🤘🏼💚
You are like what the British public were like in 1976 just after this masterpiece sunk in.
i remember the first time I heard it. I'm very old so and that was a very long time ago, in fact, when it was first released. I couldn't believe what I was hearing because the story is so dark. In places, it's very very profound. As a fan, his death devastated me because at that time I knew a lot of people who were dying. It is only recently I have been able to listen to him again.
Oh darlings ;) I´m so glad you finaly got to hear this peace of art.... please do yourself a favor and continue to listen to the magnificent Queen!
RIP Freddie. The band is nothing without Freddie. Guitar player is Brian Mays
One of your funniest reactions yet!! Y’all should do more reactions together, you play off of one another very well. ❤️
Your Best Reaction EVER, You and Kaniyia are MAGIC toghther
Masterpiece! Freddie Mercury R.I.P.
This is a rhapsody...a blend of several styles of music into one piece...a ballad, opera (buffa) and rock.
Sent shivers down my spine...
And gives me the chills everytime! ❤️
Great song.....and you guys are absolutely adorable!
Oh my god! If only I was younger, bro... I love you so much... Your reactions, the way you feel music, you 're so funny too... By the way, Queen is one of my favorite groups, I' m french and so fan of English music and English groups, I mean the ones from England, the country of foolish music, so creative, the perfection of the way they play instruments, the lyrics... They made it become a real art... With all my love, thanks... A definitely french woman follower
A good video to watch is the Full 1985 Live Aid Concert. Queen's performance is AMAZING. It's 21 mins long but so worth it. Would love to hear and see your reaction to their performance.

Thank you, thank you. I was a teen when this first came out. I LOVED IT!!! My friends would not even listen to it. I was a Black Rock and Roll Chick in the '70's, LONELY. The technical, the arrangements, how beautiful and strong it was. I loved watching you love it. Try Metallica.
My left ear loved it
React to Live Aid please Thank you! This is an awesome reaction and more Queen as well
Love, love, love this reaction 💓

YOU BET ITS LEGENDARY
This song wouldn't have been so successful if it wasn't for Kenny Everett. Who was friends with Freddie Mercury and decided to play it several times on Capital Radio.
