Once Freddie was at a concert in Mexico, they were throwing shoes at him. Freddie then said, "You Bunch Of Tacos!"
Lol i loved that, its sad tho because they never tour in mexico again
Bruh I'm Hispanic and I'm crying from laughter that's so fucking funny
The thing is that they chose the wrong place to perform at (this place called "puebla", folks from there ARE a bunch of tacos), freddie just put on a hat on the stage and they took that as an insult for some reason, i think if they would've chosen another place the whole thing would've been way different
Edit: and as a mexican myself, i feel very ashamed of that
This is why I love Freddie so much 😂😂

Ruby: "I know this song."
Me: "Of course you do. Everyone with a pulse does. I've known this song since I was 3, and I'm a 20 year old Japanese man"
Yeah, it's probably the most well known song in the world...
I smell araki
Japan specifically had such love for Queen; when they traveled there on tour, they could barely leave their rooms because of the huge swarms of crowds. The song "Teo Torriatte" was written as a love letter from the band to Japan. It's a very beautiful song
I only discovered it because my aunt likes singing to Bohemian Rhapsody in Karaoke and have listened some Queen songs since then
To be fair, queen was really big in Japan
Freddie is not a rockstar he is a legend and nobody will replace him

Aye donut gang

Even the younger people could say something like “this was played at my school assembly” or “i used to listen to this with my parents” and that seems so cool to me that Queen is just universal
I had a Queen 8 track tape when I was a kid and LOVE this band! I only wish that I had been old enough before Freddy died to have seen them in concert. No other band has the range that they do from rock to opera.
Queen WAS my high school years. We used to put those monster speakers on each side of our ears and hear not only Freddie and Queen”s brilliance, the experimentation in all the songs, and how beautifully they used stereo!! The first 2 albums were more hard core and out there. I wish people would listen to those as well. And in concert?!?! I had 5th row seats. RIP Freddie 💓 PS I teared up through this entire thing
