Perfectly timed advise for our lawns right now! I am subscribed to your channel as well as "How to with Doc"...you both sing the praises of the line of lawn products from Andersons and they definitely do the job! I have been following your suggested course of treatments and I have jealous neighbors on both sides of my house! They have both come to me and said, "why doesn't YOUR lawn have weeds like mine?" Or "why is your lawn so much GREENER than mine?"
Keep up the good work...your straight-forward, matter-of-fact presentation style makes it easy to trust and try your advice!

Love it! There is a reason why I like these Andersons products - it's because they work the best. I have tried other fertilizers, and I never got the same results. Thanks for tuning in and appreciate the sub

Good content. I just put down some starter fert, bc temps were suppose to be 50-60 this week with rain 3 days. In a few weeks, when temps rise more, I'll put down weed & feed.

Cool! Have you had success in the past with the weed and feed?

@@GriffithLawnLabs well last year I renovated my front in Spring. Made it through whole year. I did renovate my backyard in fall 2022. Used the starter fert early, then overseeded a month later, came out good.

If there is a siteOne nearby I like the Country Club MD 14-7-14, it's 70% slow release, has 2%Fe 1.5%Mg 1%Mn as well as sea kelp, and Its an 80 SGN so it spreads amazing.

    This stuff is super expensive

Yeah, I hear ya! Lawn care in general is expensive. The Andersons fertilizers went up since last fall too. It's a great product, but the more prices go up, the more I want to look elsewhere for a cheaper product that is competitive to this one. We had someone in this chat mention Country Club MD 14-7-14, and that looks like a really good option that I am considering.

Have you ever tried a feed store? My take is this, it’s only expensive when you pay for the name on the bag. Most folks will be ok if they mow twice a week, fert monthly, & water weekly. A lot of times, all the extra stuff it’s worth the cost associated with the benefits.

I agree with you on the cost factor with the brand name products. But I think sometimes the extra benefits are worth the higher price tag. The smaller particle size of both the Andersons and the Country Club products is what's appealing to me. Granular products are always more expensive than liquids. I am planning to add more liquid fertilizer to my program this year.
