  • Even the world’s greatest racing circuits have dud corners. Seriously. Just have a think for a few minutes about your favourite venues. There’s always one turn that grinds your gears.
That’s what we are covering here. Not the worst tracks in the world, but the worst corners and often, an element can stick out like a sore thumb should the rest of the experience be so satisfying.
This video features some of the all-time greatest venues, and Paul Ricard, so watch to see which corners irked our racers the most.
But, woah woah, hold your horses. Before you set your keyboard on fire with rage, this is only the opinion of some of the Traxion team. You know you may have a difference of opinion. But that’s okay. Let us know in the comments below your least favourite curve in curve racing and it could make it into a follow-up video soon.

At COTA, I actually find turns 8 and 9 to be quite satisfying to hit right, and it's not as though you need to worry too much about the fact that you have to go single file through there because two prime passing apexes are coming up quick. So in my mind, that spot in hell is definitely reserved for 13 and 14.

as a rally fan i love mount panorama in every way, the trick in the tight part is to take it as an rally, awd car oversteer into the hairpin and never go at your limit, in most tracks you can and must go at the limit, in mount panorama and a rally stage that means either hundreds of attempts or rage quit

One corner from a layout that made it on to the F1 2020 game, if not real life, the very tight, left hand hairpin at the end of the curving back straight of the Hanoi Street Circuit. The approach to this corner does at least allow some slipstreaming on the approach, but at the corner itself, you have to make sure you are well and truly ahead before the braking zone. Why? Because even when it's one at a time, there isn't enough steering lock to avoid running wide on corner exit. Very frustrating

"Pain in the Haas...." While I, a NASCAR fan from America, typically cringe at how you pronounce "Haas" in the UK (Is that more to do with Will Buxton's Haas jokes? Probably.), this has to be my favorite Haas joke. And, I agree, the Village section is a pain in the Haas. Why couldn't they just keep the Bridge section? I mean, I assume safety was a part of it, but was that all?
"...and that chicane deserves to be next." It's always a great day when racing series actually listen to the fans (not like when NASCAR renamed the Chase the Playoffs after fans had been calling for them to just get rid of the Chase).

Hard doesnt mean bad. Hard means you're a bad driver if you cant get it right.
