I like that you and Retro Ralph talk about these options. It makes me want to dig out my Wii and play House of the Dead 2.
The Wii is emulated in Dolphin. I have over 1000 Wii games on my PC, and they all play with the Wii controllers.

I can build the same system myself for well under $200. Refurb/used SFF PCs are easy to pick up.

You're right you can but good luck getting all those games to work with your light guns. Doing your own build is relatively easy for someone who knows where to find the ROMs and is willing to put in the time to set up the front end. However setting up all the games to work with light guns is a whole nother level of pain in the ass.
Does that include the purchase of the gun as well? Pretty hard to beat @retrolizard636 price plus support and customer service.

If you do a full mod and replace the guns with real sindens, then yes.

My only comment is it doesn’t come with guns. He’s gotta include that. Like most people, I want a plug and play solution.

Will the lightgun box operate 2 guns for 2-Player games?
Next time you chat with Retro Lizard, can you ask him if his tried include "Carnival King Big Top Shooter" in the collection? I have the real arcade machine at home, but I never see it included in these collections. The game is hard drive based similar to Area 51.

How does this compare with the retro shooter ? How does Point Blank compare with arcade 1up’s version ? I know the retro shooter had the console version if PB so no high score saves. Do high scores get saved in PB 1 and 2 on this one ? Thx and nice review 😊
I haven’t played the retro shooter, but these are the arcade versions. As far as comparing to the A1U version, same exact game. High scores do save :)

@@retrolizardscustomarcades is it easy to mod a 1up with it ? I know there is a plug and play with retro shooter but that one has the console version of my favourite game Point Blank which must have high score saves for me. I need it to be basically plug and play. Looks great though !
@@NEONBattleBitch 2 diffrent products for 2 different audiences. The retro shooter feels like a really nice toy. The sinden has a real selonoid and the quality is way better. Not to mention that with the retroshooter if you're getting the pandoras box then you're stuck with the games that it comes with. If you're getting just the guns with the PC hub then you're not limited but the cost with increase with the purchase of the guns and then a PC. Addtionally, while the restroshooters aren't bad, then cannot compare to the quality of a Sinden or Gun4ir. I own all 3 and speak directly from experience.
The sinden white border cuts off the screen hiding critical information. I still feel the guncons with ps1 and ps2 on a CRT tv is better than this but that might just be my opinion? Also the pedal vs button time crisis debate is ridiculous, the button is fine to use. The pedal is so overrated its not funny anymore. What's the difference between pushing a pedal with a foot or pushing a button with a thumb? Not much yeah? A toe to determine your duck or shoot or a thumb? Two perfectly serviceable human body parts right there, hence it doesnt matter if your toe or thumb about as much as it dont matter if your black or white.
The screen size is actually adjustable, and can fit at a pixel perfect aspect ratio inside of the white borders. The thickness of the white border can also be reduced. I just haven’t calibrated all of the games yet.

Not only is it plug n play with sinden, but also Wii remote, Aimtrak, and Gun4IR.
