Hey guys, today's video is the finale of the Annapurna Base Camp Trek in Nepal. Usually during my trekking videos I like to talk as I go through the day however on these particular days for whatever reason I wasn't in the mood to make one of those videos.
I will never forget as I walked over a snow field where 7 people had gone missing as they had been caught in the middle of an avalanche in mid January. Sadly only 3 bodies have been found currently but as the snow begins to melt hopefully the other bodies can be found and returned to there families. It was a very surreal and strange feeling to be walking in a place that can change at any moment due to the weather especially at this point of the trek making your feel extremely vulnerable.
Trekking in Nepal can be dangerous so please take extra precautions especially when trekking before peak seasons when the weather can be unpredictable. Safe travel and trekking!

Great vid Will. I did ABC in 97 and you can see why Annapurna is one of the most difficult 8000 meter climbs. Beautiful views. It’s weird not seeing anyone there during prime trekking season. As sad as things are you got to experience something few people have seen. An absolute silent ABC. My condolences to the families and friends of the people lost in the avalanche . “Mountains are not fair or unfair they are just dangerous” Reinhold Messner.

Awesome, brought back loads of memories of 2014 or 2013 (the year of a deadly avalanche due to storm which claimed or stranded i think around 62 people or smthn in Annapurna circuit trip). I was there with my girlfriend and we were some fortunate ones to have left the affected area 2 days prior to the calamity.
Again, totally different content from ever vibrant, mischievous Will :).
