Brad Pitt is the only actor who actually EATD FOOD in movies, the others play with their food without actually taking a bit it drives me insane to watch actors poke at their food without taking a bite. HAHA.
Could’ve just put David Justice and his bum legs at first and put Scott Hatteberg at DH. Either way, it worked out especially well for the Cincinnati Reds from ‘07-‘08, Hatteberg’s last two seasons in MLB and his finest by far.
It’s like George Burns and his cigar, some actors just have a natural rhythm where their acting is the best and good directors set the scene to allow them to be their best

I've been watching Moneyball clips for like 2 days now. F it, i'll go watch it.
Yep, i also caved in, despite not knowing any rules about baseball or who those players are haha
I know what that's like.
We are living a parallel existence.
same same. not enough clips.
Feels like I'm in the grand canyon on a windy afternoon....
What’s funny is hatteberg was one of the better defensive first baseman that year the actual feilding percentage was above average
What matters is his range factor, and Hatty led the AL in that, as well as total zone runs.
It was windy in that office!
Good selling point for paperweights...

Coming to Netflix this week!
If only I were in that room. "Let's play Hatty at DH!"
Isn't that what David Justice was doing?
@@williammcguire130 Stick him in Right Field
@@teddyr549 his legs were done. Would've been a liability in the field
Yeah,. Not sure why they didn't explain why not. I mean if DJ was at DH, DJ had a healthy arm. Seemed stupid the whole time. I also kept wondering it.
@@williammcguire130 I believe Justice was DH but yeah, I thought he was leadoff.

Why is brad pitt always eating in movies
For the same reason Christopher Walken is always dancing.

Alex Z
Well, he's constantly making movies, so I imagine he's hungry.
It’s like George Burns and his cigar, some actors just have a natural rhythm where their acting is the best and good directors set the scene to allow them to be their best
He probably quit smoking and that's the best way to curb the need for a cigarette.
He’s a huge stoner so it may be the munchies
This is an over dramatization. Hatty played catcher in MLB for years. He would be able to field a ball.
1:01 oh oh!
Why not put Hatteburg at DH?
You wanna go with Hatty....... not Pena
Washington had success with the Rangers doing the same thing
Filmed directly off the TV screen? Horrific.
I hate the way Art Howe was portrayed in this movie. Howe was a great manager and Beane's ego did not want to share the spotlight
It had nothing to do with the real life Billy Beane's ego, and everything to do with screenwriter Aaron Sorkin creating antagonists for the movie.

How many World Series rings does Billy Beane have? Wait, I remember now....
how much of a payroll did Billy Beane have to play with in the time he was GM?
