The last movement is quite fast and has sometimes the motif of the first movement in it.

Beethoven's logic:
Ok, first movement, let's do a mysterious sad nice tempo piece. Second movement, let's do a slowly peacefully and pretty movement. Third movement...
LET'S FUCK EVERYTHING
Exactly xD
Not exactly my thoughts but close!
Same logic was applied to Pathetique and Moonlight!!
EXACTLY 😂
+godly sowah i couldnt agree more
I honestly love this side of CZcams. It's the best thing on here, the comments make my day everyday.
fuck
Shit
Who else thinks this piece has an amazing ending?
I love the ending.
+Timothy Garrison its not song -_-
soso dzneladze Yes, I know.
It isn't a song
Timothy Garrison it's a piece, moron
a song is something you sing, a piece is something you play
6:54 Beethoven, it's okay, you don't need to do this.
7:09 BEETHOVEN, DRUGS ARE NOT THE AWNSER.
7:30 *STOP IT! TAKING DRUGS BEETHOVEN*
1Laika sounds beautiful with drugs tho
its not drugs at 6:54 its ending of the first 101 thing
its not drugs too at 7:09 its just complicated at 7:30 too and
no its not drugs at 7:30 its just fast piano like playing 64th notes
Beethoven didn't followed your advice...probably cuz he's deaf
this is the most badass ending ever.....Beethoven was like TAKE THIS MOZART !!!
Ador Rahbar listen to Beethoven's symphony 5 ending or bhrams symphony 4 ending and waldstein 1st movement ending
I said that cuz u seem to like endings
So, Beethoven was looking a dead body? XD
Beethoven toxic much , teabagging on Mozartʼs dead body
It took me a while, but now i can watch the entire video without feeling guilty for not even trying to learn the piece.
+Existing in music The best of pianists probably take years to master this piece. It's not easier than it looks; it is the exact opposite of what you said.
***** Actually, looking at it, it kind of seems not so hard. Good Job though, that's impressive
Started learning it today, making good progress, I can play the first 10 or so chords, yay me
+SHJ Gaming It took me a while to realise how genius your comment is. It's literally the same chord 13 times
Aegon Targaryen NM
7:43 casually says, now it's your turn
"show me what you got boy"-Betthoven
I just read this seconds before the end and then I had to hear the last two notes as "your turn".
Im like sure let me go sleep
No problem, picked it up in 10 seconds flat. Played it fluently twice then moved on.
Malcolm Abram And the woke up from the dream
After 2 weeks of nonstop practice I can finally and successfully play up to 0:05
+Nicholas Mejia It took me a whole month to get to there! you're a very fast learner!

+Jessica Cyan Msp XD
+Barbara Kuek jesus christ two weeks? took me thirty minutes holy crap man wow

One of my favorite 3rd movement of Beethoven together with tempest pathetique and moonlight-sonata.
I couldn’t agree more with this list!

7:30 when you see a spider on your wall and it disappears
Mula But I like spiders
I see you still remember me Jeffrey. I'm under the sofa.
Mula deserves my like 😂
How does this comment not have a thousand likes.
If I see a spider and it disappears the first thing I’m going to do is run away from my country
Each and every piece of Beethoven has the incredible intensity and is sensationally majestic that just gives me goosebumps and fills me with rage and that feeling is just incredible. He and his music sure are immortal, only name that will keep echoing through the countless millenniums will be Beethoven.
well said, he is amazing
HANI NO ZUKA millenia*
Yeah, but you cant hear The intensity in such a Version of course!
Too bad he couldnt hear any of it
No it will Be Mozart
I can't believe Beethoven was deaf when he composed this... It is beautiful and intense at the same time
When this was composed he wasn’t deaf yet
he wasn't fully deaf
@@arieltabbach4946 he had hearing problems he couldnt hear the hight notes
Composed between 1803 and 1804, the 'Appassionata' is one of Beethoven's most tempestuous works for the piano. Ludvig van Beethoven composed his storm-tossed 'Appassionata' Sonata No. 23 (1803-04) at a time when his hearing was deteriorating rapidly.
He was going deaf during at this time. He picked up a chair and almost threw it at the Prince. By 45 he was completely deaf. This was sometime earlier in his life. He first started to notice hearing loss after he wrote the moonlight, sometime around 1798. Had he behaved like he did in his own time today, he probably would've had a grave result
@@opticalmixing23by age 45 his hearing was so bad that it would have been almost impossible to compose or write he actually lost 95 percent of his hearing but never his hole life went completely deaf just in case you don't know.
4:14 LOL, LOL, LOL, LYL.
+Todd Gobbett wow that's cool
Todd Gobbett i bet that was planned
He was laughing at how foolish we'd all look attempting this piece.
*_Foolish humans_*
Lol😂😂😂😂😂
Todd Gobbett beethoven was laughing :/
My best friend plays this song sometimes and honestly it's the most mesmerizing thing to listen to. I could never learn something like this on piano but i find great pleasure in watching him play it nonetheless.
"Tutorial".
+MusicMike512 play the vid in slow motion
+Lorenzo Nieddu I agree!
Come I´ll teach you c:
Que nombre tan viejo tan cursi. Soy yo haciendo el papel del guason.
Hochachtungsvoll und gedeihen.
I like to call it How To Basic
at the end, beethoven had to take a train
Patrick Star I don't get this?
Dont worry patrick, I got the joke AND I liked it too.
I actually liked it 😂😂
Patrick Star maybe he was playing his brand new piece he made and then he had to take a train to go somewhere and he was almost late and played the ending to fast but made it how the ending is supposed to be anyways ._.
Lps Blue Diamond why would he play his own pieces? He cant even hear them
7:20 I love it so much when he changes the chord
Beethove was truly passionnate about is work !!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ronak Hati !!!!!!!
Appassionata!
In Dare, Which would you like to play?
Like = Appassionata 3rd Movement
Comment = Moonlight Sonata 3rd Movement
I love the moonlight sonata
Both lol
This piece is actually, for the most part, not as hard as it looks (although it has its moments.
Making smooth transitions is probably the trickiest part to master). It is also a LOT of fun to learn. The key is to start slow and steady. Memorization is pretty straight forward but keeping relaxed is very important with this one. If you tense up while playing you will get tired before getting close to finishing. That's the key!
But its still one of his hardest sonatas and also watch out for the hate comments with ppl wanting proof of you playing it
@@Numberonesorabjifan It's not hateful to ask someone to back their statements up with evidence. People make absurd claims on here all the time but never back it up.
Jair Crawford I agree
@@Numberonesorabjifan watch liszt
@@Numberonesorabjifan the 1st mov. Is harder for me.
Where is the version for human?
LOVE THIS PIECE!!! My favorite part of the entire piece is the coda at the end! But my favorite part of the coda is the part after the staccatos! That part is SO EPIC that I can't even get enough of it, and the repeat of that high toned part is really UNBELIEVABLE! Beethoven really was a professional at creating this piece!
Beethoven's music is a miracle. His music makes all the xenophobia, bad thoughts and sadness go away. It brings us together with joy that this person made the best music in the world, that someone like him existed. No matter who you are, Beethoven has a song for you. No matter your age, Beethoven has a song for you. No matter the instrument you play, Beethoven has a song for you. This is real music, not the commercial one. There was no composer that was at least half as good as him. There will be no next Beethoven. He's unique.
Reast In Peace
I like chopin a lot too, but i agree with you.
I like chopin a lot too, but i agree with you.
Alexis Nguyen Chopin is great too! (y)
+firas alboni You see, I agree with Mr. Horowitz. He said Schubert was maybe the greatest composer to ever live. He was poor, sick and ugly, and yet, made great music.
"Even Beethoven didn't compose like Schubert."
Rapaz Jucnuke I love Schubert, too! But showing my love for him on a video where a musical pieve made by Beethoven was shown will make me sound like a hater.
2:05 sounds so nice!
this piece cured my cancer.

7:45 this is like the moonlight sonata 3rd movement
Yep, the end
At 2:27 as well as 5:09, did anyone else hear “Paint It Black” by The Rolling Stones in the left hand part. After every C in that part, the melody of the main guitar riff is played.
Yes
what is that
You’re right, I think Beethoven plagiarised the Rolling Stones smh
4:29 looks like the DNA fabric of the universe!

I woke up at 3 am this morning and this was the first thing I thought of
trying to learn this song, I realized that it's actually not as difficult as it sounds (until the crazy part at the end). The real challenge comes in putting the hands together. It doesn't take that much work to master either hand, I think if you put enough time into each hand (which isn't much), and have a good grasp on the actual song, and you can identify the melody, it's really much easier than it sounds. I think many people who probably have the skill to play this won't try or get anywhere because it looks so tough. Keep in mind, it's really tough, but once you've developed the technical abilities to play at the necessary speed, and have a good enough sense of the song to understand exactly where each hand fits into the other, it's not as hard as it seems. This seems to be a common trait with some other crazy Beethoven songs, namely, Moonlight mvt. 3. I personally find Tempest mvt. 3 more difficult than this.
Give it a shot. Even if you can only play the first two minutes, it's a shocker at a party for sure.
appassionata is a lot lot lot lot lot lot harder than tempest 3rd mov. and moonlight 3. huh
Jw- piano haha not sure what I was talking about, I probably hadn’t gotten to the last couple minutes when I wrote this
the hard part is getting the technical ability
I have played most of beethoven sonatas Appasionata by far is more difficult than moonlight sonata 3rd movement and tempest sonata
@@Beyondthestring looking back i think I meant tempest 1. I found this more difficult, at least for the right dynamics.
Oh yeah, yeah... I can play this.... Let me just get my other pair of hands
ScarletVelvetCake u should see the polonaise chop in tutorial ..... God help us
Chopin
How do you get more hands, do you go chopin them off? Lo?
Lol*
ScarletVelvetCake i can play it hold my beer
Holy crap, staring at that for 7 minutes made me have a miny trip.
Ayn
Me too
Pro tip, don't play this if you need a tutorial. You'll more than likely come out the other end with *no hands*
I'd consider the sheet music to be a tutorial so you're implying one must learn from ear? That sounds rather tricky
I'd consider the sheet music to be a tutorial so you're implying one must learn from ear? That sounds rather tricky
The LimeBox It's quite clear that as this is a video, so I'm implying that one shouldn't use the VIDEO to learn. Learning from sheet music is expected.
***** "Pro tip, don't play this if you need a tutorial." A tutorial. Not this tutorial, but a tutorial
The LimeBox I think you're misunderstanding me, so I'll explain my self in a few words. It is pretty close to impossible to learn this piece using the video provided. Therefore, one should not use this video (In which the OP clearly states that it's a piano tutorial) as it's more viable to use sheet music, as dynamics and other musical markings are made.
Oh crap I'm late for school! *music plays*
He was a human-being. So what am i ?
i feel like a rabbit caught in the headlights in each listening .
Ah yes, Beethoven's Appassionata 3rd Movement, or as I like to call it, 'Death to the Pianist'
Wow what an easy Tutorial! It really helped me😐
Lmao
Yeah, it's a great video, but I'm not totally sure if the person who posted it fully comprehends what "tutorial" means.
Beethoven welcomes and does not neglect the range of the piano. The somber low keys with and to the affectionate high keys, then used together and also mixed through to prove the piano is a smart element of life or in the least that could be. Delight to have this, the passion still appreciated long around. Appassionata is worth a second glance for certain, if not even more. Good done well there Beethoven.
I think Beethoven had a good laugh while composing the 7:00 part
SnowyTrash Legend says he Laughed Out Loud
Legend has it he's still laughing to this day
Geometry Dash ToXIc he’s still dead until this day
Lps Blue Diamond he’s laughing from above
Mystified 2 yes.
WHat a beautiful masterpiece it is!

After playing this, most pianists end up testing positive on anti-drug control tests.

Beethoven isn't Beethoven if the piece doesn't have an IMPOSSIBLY HARD ending....
Unless, like Für Elise, he has mercy and decided to go easy on us.
At least that...
+Shrekt W I don't give any mercy from the start to the end of my pieces
How didn't I notice that????
+Franz Liszt You gave a tiny bit on the first 45 seconds of your 2nd Hungarian Rhapsody, but after that, forget it.
