    I always thought that this was “that one impossible piece” I could never play.
    But out of curiosity, I took a look at the sheet music and tried sight-reading it.
    It actually isn’t as difficult as it seems. I have a lot of fun practicing it.

      @@sallie. well done, that's quite an achievement, I suppose in the Beethoven piano canon, which is quite considerable, the moonlight sonata is middle of the road, not nearly as complex as hammerklavier und Waldstein. But it's still very difficult unless you're a professional

      Stratomies niin saatanasti yes, but he meant all metal is, at least as an analog. Just look at music preferences: people who like metal are far more likely to also like classical than any other pairing. It’s also why all of the classical-metal hybrids exist and are so popular.

      Beethoven was born in 1770. But I think he was older than 30 when he wrote this. So early 1800s would be accurate.

    I love how the arpegios are made, like we can clearly see their patterns represented in a graphical way. All this was inside the Beethoven's mind, because he continued his works even after deaf.
    I sincerely think he is the greatest genius in the history of music, and no, you can't change my mind.

      Cyka Landon I know that. With a name like *Ludwig VAN Beethoven* it's fairly easy to pick up that he's German. I was trying to make a play on words since the piece is fairly quick-paced, Rushin', which is pronounced the same as Russian, and the running joke on the channel is to make everything sound Russian.

    Moonlight sonata in my view is the biggest masterpiece of classical music. It start with a melancholic 1st movement, then we have an allegretto on th 2nd one and it finish with this high energy heavy metal power and yet very melodic at the same time. No one ever match Beethoven. He's the God of music.

      Dalton Stephens I've been playing piano since I' ten and I mastered this piece in 6months when I was 15, I don't play a lot but I play almoste everyday so you can do it don't worry eheh

    Fantastic! I recommend you to do Beethoven’s symphonies (transcribed by Liszt) for piano or symphonies in general (by other composers) for piano.

      @@HelloIAmNextToYou discrepo ahi, seria depende de la persona, ya que esta pieza fue la primera que aprendi demore meses pero se logro, y me ayudo que otras piezas como el nocturno n20, fantasia improvisada de Chopin o wilde jagd de Lizst se me hagan mas faciles, gracias a al tercer movimiento.
