If we're going by Liszt's piano transcriptions of Beethoven's symphonies, the 9th is by far the hardest. Liszt himself had a lot of trouble making a decent transcription of the 4th movement.

If you want to know how to know if something was written by Beethoven, its fairly simple: If there is endless repetition of a motive, its him. I think this has 126 repetitions in there
I mean, relatively at the beginning he just uses a repeat sign to play the first part again
He perfected his skill of composing with variations. The first of his works is "Variations in C minor" soo he was an expert in recycling motiffs of older compositions (3rd and arguably 6th symphonies) or putting variations on a orginal one covering it with contrapunctual madness. So maybe it's the same motiff but other composers did the same like for example Haydn and Mahler.
Also uses different chords. And its hard cause your finger gotta move f as t as hell

Beethoven also usually makes it sound like the symphony is going to end, which turns out to be fake. When we think it'll extend for another 3 minutes or so, he ends it
