- What we did 3 days in Budapest in January: lots of exploring and eating! Unfortunately, we had 2 rainy days, imagine how much prettier it would be if all days were sunny 😢
Slowly getting more comfortable to talk in a vlog. But still switching between Dutch and English tho haha, hope you don't mind there are subtitles!! Also, a new editing style, what do you think? Still figuring out what suits my style, so open to any feedback :)
For a more detailed review of the restaurants we've been to, scroll down to the itinerary.

The location is sooo central, everything was on walking-distance and the metro station was just in front of the door. Really recommend if you're staying in Budapest (not sponsored) *wish it was* 🫣
If you're curious about what we have planned for 3 days in Budapest, here is the itinerary:
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
DAY 1 IN BUDAPEST ⛪🛥️
- St. Stephen’s Basilica
- Hungary Opera
- The Great Market Hall
- A boat tour on the Danube
RESTAURANTS
🍜 Lunch: Tay Ho 10/10!!! Prices are so good, and the pho was de-li-ci-ous.
🍕 Snack: Manu 7/10 Just okay pizza's, not amazing. Instead of plates, you're eating from a piece of carton?
🥘 Dinner: Retek 8.5/10 Great ambiance, live piano music and the flavours are unique. Goulash soup was very yummy.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
DAY 2 IN BUDAPEST 🏰🍻
- Heroes' square
- Vajdahunyad Castle
- House of Music
- Hungarian Parliament
- City centre
- Vintage ruin bars (one-of-a-kind experience!!)
RESTAURANTS
🍳 Breakfast: Selah coffee house 8/10 Hungarian scrambled eggs are good, and they serve tons of different made coffee.
🍲 Lunch: Mazel Tov 7/10 Very Instagrammable, though the food was not that tasty tbh, except for the lamb. Also, quite pricy for a lunch in Budapest.
Snack: Kurtoskalacs 8/10 You should definitely try chimney cakes if you're here! These were quite good, and got a great texture.
🥩 Dinner: Meatology 6.5/10 The food was meh, but the service was very good.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
DAY 3 IN BUDAPEST 🏛️👙
- Széchenyi thermal baths (advice: go early in the morning, it is less crowded)
- Fisherman's Bastion (astonishing during sunset)
- Buda Castle
- Castle Garden Bazaar
RESTAURANTS
🥐 Breakfast: Pöttyös Bögre Bisztró 6/10
🫕 Lunch: Lanchid 7/10 Goulash soup was great, big bowl of 1 litre.
🍝 Dinner: Comme sez choi 10/10!!! You've heard our review, this restaurant is amazing. The foie gras was just mind blowing, couldn't believe our taste buds: a literal taste explosion.

Wow because of this vlog Budapest is on the bucketlist!!! 😍😍
A girl walks through the foggy streets of Budapest,
Like a heavenly angel, she shines beautifully.
Her beauty is like the rays of the sun,
It beats the city lights a hundred times.
Her hair is happily swaying in the wind,
Like a string of pearls, it shines brightly.
Happiness shines in his eyes,
Like the stars shining in the sky.
Attracts people's attention
Her beauty captivates everyone.
Her soft smile like sweet honey
It touches people's hearts deeply.
This girl is special like a diamond,
In addition to its beauty, Budapest is also dwarfed.
Like the sun that surpasses the stars,
Its beauty captivates everyone who sees it.
Budapest was my last trip before lockdown in 2019. This brought back good vibes and brought all the fun back! Spent 11 days there I would go back immediately!

Me from Hungary!!😊😊
Pho soup and burger are not hungarian food. Taste excrllent local food like gulash, chicken paprikas instead if you are in Budapest..
We definitely tried these Hungarian food!! Check out 02:34 & 08:03
You are in Budapest! Why eat Asian food in Budapest. Rule 1
Of travel eat the local dishes and cuisine.
I definitely did try out Hungarian food if you watch the rest of the video
