Liza, you should have gone to Városliget Park which is a park with a beautiful lake (an ice rink in the winter), a lovely mini castle, the Széchényi Thermal Baths, a hot air baloon and a zoo. In front of the park there is the Heroes Square and Andrassy avenue (a Hungarian version of the Champs-Elysees). Try out the m1 metro line next time because it is Beautiful (It runs under Andrássy avenue and is the oldest Metro line in continental Europe)

too bad you missed going to two more famous places in Budapest: Heroes Square and the Szechenyi Baths,,,Budapest is cool
