This is one of the best animal stories I've ever heard. I love this man for doing this. A moose in the house on a mattress watching T.V. What is better than that? I'd do anything to have that connection to a wild animal from it's childhood. Bravo, buddy!! (It's like the hippo named Jessica in South Africa that sleeps on a mattress and gets an oil massage every night from her human mother.)

I have actually pet this moose at Gårdsjö Älgpark 🙂 I live only 27 kilometers (16.7 miles) from the park here in Sweden.
You’re so lucky. Is it open to the public?
Yeah, it's open to the public, but you have to pay an entrance fee (I think it's around $30). Leif Lind will drive you around the park in a big wooden cart and feed the moose so they'll come really close to you 🙂

Leffe is known as the Moose man! He has a park where you can go see his moose and you get a chance to go so close that you can pet some of them. If ever in Sweden visit Gårdsjö Älgpark. You will have a memory for life.

My only beef is that this gives the impression that wild animals aren't. In the real world, that moose would kill your dog and cripple you.
I say this with love for all animals, but having grown up in moose country, they're crazy violent when confronted with humans. Don't let this fool you. If you see a moose, run away.
