I am bawling right now! I had a blind horse, who lived thirty years. I was terrified to move him from the boarding place where he went blind to his new home. There were trails, for sure. But we did little things too. We bordered the fence line with fine gravel so he could feel when he was getting close. I bought every dollar store out of those little whirlygigs you blow on and out one on every fence post. The trough had goldfish and he could hear them. We put zip ties around the barn door so he could feel where he was, rounded the corners of his stall with litter, got him a radio... He adored our local classical station. I don't know how many hours we walked the property until he got the map in his head. We used bells too. The closer he was to the sound, the safer he was. We got lucky and one of our goats began escorting him out to pasture. You guys are so awesomely blessed!

I have a blind horse. He really gets around well as long as we don't change anything in his pasture. But when he gets spooked by hunters nearby or coyotes, he gets disoriented. I got him a seeing-eye donkey buddy that stays right with him and protects him. You did everything just perfectly for your cow.

Crying over a cow was not on my list of things to do today but here I am. This is incredibly touching and I couldn’t be happier for that sweet old gal.

Hello, I read what you wrote. Please tell me it is true, when we die we are reunited with our animals we have cared for and loved. I have dogs. I believe in God but not sure which God I believe in. I pray to God Christianity but also to Allah. I need to address one God. Is there something you could say that could help me in this situation. I do lean more to Christianity. So admit that you’re a sinner, repent, call out His glorious name and be saved.🙌🏼
I do believe our animals go to the Father when they die. They have a spirit which returns to Him. So it only seems logical that we will see them again.

Many years ago, I spent Christmas at my cousin's farm where he rented his pasture to his neighbor for his herd of dairy cows. The guest room I slept in had a narrow window that opened onto the pasture and I left it open one night because it was a little too warm in the farmhouse. I woke at about 4AM with one of the cows nuzzling my hair and licking my cheek. I spent a good 30 minutes just scratching her muzzle. She loved it.
Except for waking up next to my wife for the last 35 years, that was my best morning ever.

So many THANKS and BLESSINGS to you and all who help all of HIS friends of the land, air and seas. On our farm our cows and bulls were such pistols and when I at age 5 would go up to the Bull Henry over 1000 lbs and just hug him and say I love ya Henry...they followed me around like dogs and would take their naps under the tree with them all around me, that was 6+decades ago. They passed and and were buried under their fav trees.
I know one day when I go to the Bridge they will be there
The LOVE of all animals is given to humans willing to return that LOVE.

This was a very touching story from beginning to now. She is obviously a very happy cow now and it was a joy to share her happiness through your efforts, love and care! God Bless you, your partner, and Helen, and all of her cow friends. Caring for my dog a few years back, who went blind. I learned how to see the world through the eyes of my blind buddy. I was grateful for every day I had with him over the next 10 years. RIP Skamp! 🙏🙏
So sorry about Skamp. Losing our pets is always hard. I’ve lost 5 dogs & 4 cats since 2016, & all except one cat was over 8 years old, with the oldest being an 18-19 year old kitty. The youngest was just a young little kitty, (about 18 months old), that I had rescued as a feral kitten. I got him neutered, with the intentions of adopting him out, but Marvin Grey ended up putting some love moves on my heart, & I decided to keep him. I had him 13 months before he developed a saddle thrombus that paralyzed him, & I sadly lost him just 13 months after he rescued me. I still cry over the ones I’ve lost over the years. I don’t think it ever gets easier. ((Hugs)) ❤
@@lorriedouglass2 losing my pets is among the hardest saddest things ive gone thru emotionally. and ive been divorced twice lol. i still have either the collars or tags of every pet ive ever had since i got my first cat as a kid. i remember all their names and each carries a special place in my heart ill never let go of.

A prefer rice milk , the best for children to taste (Otherwise Almond, soy, spelled, coconut... ) .
I boycott, I want us to stop taking animals for things, slaves. These are gifts from heaven . If we leave him his calf then we can take a little. But imagine if we did that to women. Non-humans at that.
