That looks delicious. And I feel like I learned something new with the sorrel. The poached egg and garlic flowers are such a beautiful touch.

What a beautiful dish! Thanks, Gill. It's lovely to see the whole process, starting with you picking the leaves.

Thanks for sharing this video recipe with us ! I'm growing French Sorrell for the first time in my garden and have not yet eaten sorrell soup. I will make some tonight but will use chicken stock rather than the pork stock. Have you ever combined it with cream of cauliflower soup? Thanks again !

I planted sorrel last year and tasted it for the first time. I'm hoping to divide the plant this coming Spring as I do appreciate the flavour of it. Unfortunately I have been suffering from sleep disturbance recently, have been unable to sleep at night, instead sleeping during the day. I would be deeply touched to anyone reading this comment who would include me in their thoughts and prayers to assist me get a good night sleep. Thank you.

I've just been sowing an English wildflower mix, which includes sorrel, as an understory in my orchard. Maybe next year I'll be able to make this soup!

Nice one Gill, I like the touch with the Egg. I like wild garlic and Sorrel soup. "young garlic and the bulb too".
I'm going to try this one. Thanks man.
    p.s. That's a kick ass blender :)

Great dish Gill, the only thing I would swap is the swirl of olive oil for a swirl of our home made chilli oil (made with local rapeseed oil) and maybe a few croutons to add another texture. Anyway I can't believe I managed to miss meeting you again, we were at the food fair for 3 days, we have been down to RCHQ 14 times and I've only met you once (maybe next time) We did manage to watch you in the food tent though with Steve. We met up again with Hugh, I also did the smoking and curing with Steve and the Forage with John, great guys and a great food fair...Brian
