- Chicharito Hernández was the most promising Mexican striker in modern football and the banner boy for their national team, but now he’s quit European football and chosen the MLS for an early retirement. What the hell happened to Chicha? Did Javier Hernández ever fulfill his potential?

Himself..
Diego Dreyfuss

I think his friend.

it’s a shame how he’s at the mls at age 31. i’m mexican and i remember watching him play throughout my childhood. he had a rough career tho
Yep he had a rough career ever my team after man United hardly let him play
MLS wants to become a league where young players and recent superstars WANT to play here not because of retirement. people view this league like a retirement league and it’s not. each season it gets better and better and soon it will become a decent league like LIGA MX. chicharito coming to MLS wasn’t a bad idea and he’s gonna start playing each match instead of being a super sub. maybe we can see chicharito take MLS by storm and then leave to chivas and retire there. it just sucks that the football world views chicharito like a shit player when he’s not. it’s crazy how two teams/cities actually see his talent and appreciate his football.
@@BryanRacks no he was going to retire from football at 19 because he wasn't getting play time with Chivas.
He’s a cherry picker lol😂
@@marvinalvarado7066 shii I forgot about "cherry picker" I haven't played soccer in a minute😂😂
Many players career's died when sir Alex retired.
U are right chicharito was not the best with the ball but he was a beast scoring goals
yeah manchester went downhill when ferguson left. It was heartbreaking
Sir Alex was a magnificent coach who nurtured players. Many players, especially Mexican players, need that type of nurturing to succeed. Many either have a hard time or can’t adapt to European coaches’ style (or racism or undervaluing of Mexican players). See what happened in the beginning with Chucky at Napoli under Gattuso, but Chucky persisted and Gattuso finally accepted him. Thank God the new coach is saying good things about Chucky.
Others, like Dos Santos, apparently don’t like the hardcore training in Europe (according to Xavi).
There’s much talent in Mexico, it just needs support and time on the field (see Raul at Wolverhampton).
Brings tears of happiness to my eyes to see the Mexican flag being waived vigorously at Molineaux.
@@alejandroleguizamo7722 in some ways the Mexican league is the opposite it over inflates the prices if it's players and its a crap shoot to even see who is the diamond out of the coal mine in each of the players teams of the BBVA Liga MX. Edson "El Machin" Alvarez with Ajax, Chucky Lozano with Napoli, Raul Jimenez with Wolverhampton Wanderers, and Hector Herrera with Atletico Madrid are examples of actual good Mexican players that are dedicated to working hard to be the player that a European team needs. Sad to see there is many wasted talents in Spain sometimes even they are their own downfall.
Roony
He should have stayed at leverkusen🤦♂️ he scored like 48 goals in like two seasons
I agreed
Also too the new coaches screw him over but yeah Bayern Leverkusen he was a beast there.
Just 39 goals, not bad for a player like him.
He was a beast there now playing in the MLS like his potential not the same

Honestly it was Chicharito’s humility that made him so great. How can you act like a superstar and not have the talent to back it up.
Yeah I remember when he was on loan at Madrid, we liked him here and he played decent also (18 G/A), we just happened to have a bad season trophy wise so Ancelotti was fired too, but if things were better, we probably would have kept him another season, because his chemistry with rest of the squad was really good too.
And now he is an arrogant who proclaim himself a legend, he spent the last seasons sitting on the bench
@@harshpandey6151 even though i hate real madrid i respected them for using chicarito
He wasn't a superstar
Dany Ness No he was saying that he was a very humble player before (that’s what made people like him so much). But now he’s being an arrogant prick despite playing like 💩.
He let all the criticism get to him, he went from being a humble and chill guy to a loud mouth “influencer”.

He was never the best or even close to be in any aspect. Inside the area he missed a lot more than any other normal striker. That is what hold him to ever win any goal score trophy.

This sounds like James Rodriguez's story right now. Not even the Colombian National Team wants that dude. If Madrid rejects you, you're cursed.
